DVD to own, to keep, and to learn from
Great adventure movie. John Wayne at his best. And the theme shows us what we are facing today with China.

A good movie for its time.
Well, I really like John Wayne movies. He was smart not to get tied into TV shows. For a 69 year old movie, this was very good. It reflected its time in history. As with any good movie , it requires the viewer to suspend their beliefs a bit , and call some scenes good luck on the part of hero, and those with him. As someone who has poor hearing , I want to thank Warner Bros. , and JW , or Batjac, for including subtitles in the re-release of this movie on dvd. It was appreciated.
