Great Musical
This musical scored by Lerner and Loewe is very charming, entertaining and the music is lovely. The dance numbers are also top notch. The only thing that would have made it better (perfect actually) would be if MGM had been able to film it in Scotland rather than in the studio.

Wonderful Fantasy
This movie needs to be given the proper 4k blu ray treatment. It is a magical film with wonderful performances and some of the best dance sequences ever filmed. Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse are both at their best and surrounding this is a really unique story. The dvd is very inexpensive and it does look quite nice. But, again, this needs to more respect. Highly recommended!

Musically Best
Back in the Golden Age of movies, this ranks with one of the finest musicals produced. With performances from Van Johnson, Gene Kelley & Cyd Charisse and a beautiful musical score, you can be prepared for an entertainment extravanza. It is a beautiful love story and a "timeless" setting that only comes to life every 100 years. You can't go wrond with this movie if you enjoy musicals.

Wonderful Scottish romance
If you love Scotland and are a die hard romantic, I think you will enjoy this film. Beautiful scenes...very dreamy. Takes you to another world in another time...

A family movie
This is a romantic movie. Boy meets girl in a magic land and falls in love. This movie version should not be confused with the cartoon of the same name. It is definitely rated G, for I have this movie also. It is a fun and entertaining movie for the whole family.

A wonderful classic
I remember watching Brigadoon with my father as a child and have alway love it! I may be only 29 but this movie is one of my all time favorites, the story is amazing and the backdrop for it is so beautiful!
