I was a bit worried about ordering this online because I don't know anything about the fittings on a disposal. I selected this one because someone recommended it to me. I was a bit surprised at how long it was but the fittings were good and this is a great, powerful disposal. I'm happy that I ordered this one.

Much quieter than my previous garbage disposal. The drain catcher is a little tighter than I am used to so the water doesnt push the food in so you have to push the waste down into the disposal

This is a heavy unit. Had a plumbing company install it. The plumber had a difficult time trying to line up the locking ring.

Install worked the way they described it. Came with the cord installed. (one before this one didn't ) Like the fact that I can remove the rubber spatter shield for cleaning. Food gets plastered on the underside of those things. Only complaint (and with time it might get better) is the rubber splatter shield is very ridged, keeping scraps from being sucked into the disposal when I run water and turn it on. I have to push the material past the black shield. But I can live it. Quieter than my last unit. Same size different manufacturer and about 12 years old. I would buy it again.

I am not sure how this item work because it came damage trying to return it at the store but they can't take back because they don't have a label printer I have to call walmart.com I should just went to lows now I miss the labor day sale and have to pay regular price thanks walmart
