Was a great price and fits perfectly into the space where my previous disposal had been. It matched great with the existing plumbing so it was easy to install. It is a little bit slimmer than my old disposal so I have more room for storage under the sink. It runs so quietly

Smaller and actually quieter than my old disposal. Also because of the narrow design I have more room under my sink. It was also lighter so the install was very quick. The mount fit right onto the old mount so I didn't need to change the mount.

Easy to install and working good

I was unsure to wether buying this Waste Maid garbage disposal or go with my original Badger 500 that came with the house when I purchased in 2001 and started to leak due to the crack on the side of the housing. After reading the reviews side by side, they both are doing great jobs on disposing the food wastes and have identical rating. Although the Waste Maid size is a bit smaller than the Badger 500, but it is powerful with a quiet motor. And price wise, the Waste Maid is 1/2 of the Badger 500's costs. I like the sound of this machine eating the food wastes. Great garbage disposal to be installed in the house. I am glad that I have purchased the Waste Maid Economy 1/2 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal.

My waste disposal became damaged. I was skeptical on this one as plenty of other stores had 1/2 hp ones for $100 - $150 and due to its low price, i thought it would break easily. I thought I'd give it a shot as Sams products have been generally good to me. So far, it has worked like a charm! Strong force as it crushes the food. Have had it so far 2 months. Will update this post but so far gets the job done and was easy to install.

Its quiter than other disposal units. lighter and good quality. Only con is that it has no manual release option on the bottom, in case it gets stuck.
