Water Tech WTB11A0000 Leaf Eater Vacuum Battery Operated

I ordered this for my husband after hearing him complain about how much of a pain it was to vacuum leaves from the bottom of the pool. The hose kept clogging up on him. He tried the Pool Blaster and he loved it - he was able to pick up all the leaves and dirt from the bottom of the pool in much less time and it was so much easier. No hose to deal with, no clogging, and no backwashing the filter, just empty the bag.

Does just what it says!! Money well spent! Saved me so much time and effort with the fall pool closing!

I had a similar leaf vac before. It wasn't nearly as powerful, and the motor broke after 1 and a half years. I wasn't going to buy the same brand.The Pool Blaster Battery Powered Leaf Vacuum is by far, superior. I made a smart decision this time. P.S. You get what you pay for! John

I was using a hand held leaf net for my pool and it would take a good hour. When i used this product, it took me less than 15 minutes to clean my pool. This product is easy to clean. I recommend removing the batteries after each use for extended battery life. Angel

THE PROS: Does a great job of picking up leaves and debris Picks up debris from bottom, top, and floating in between Quiet Doesn't require a pump Height is adjustable for large items like nuts THE CONS: Not always watertight Water will ruin the internal parts You have to remove the battery case and motor cover after every use I put a bead of silicone around the edge of the battery case and motor cover but I still have found water inside the cases The plastic is really flimsy so you have to be very gentle or you will make a hole for water to enter. Things to consider: You will need have access all around your pool since you use a pole to move the vacuum You must be committed to checking the vacuum cases after each use.

The concept of the vacuum is great. The blades are flimsy plastic that barely turn on a full 8 battery charge. The smallest thing freezes the blades. The battery charge lasts about 10 minutes of use. The bag has no real way to clean (like a zipper). It is generally frustrating because you can see how it could be a great tool but it just doesn't cooperate.

This did not work would have no stars !! Wrote to company several times to exchange and they ignore requests. They shipped it from shelf not in a box so it was slammed around in shipping I'm sure
