Its 35 oz. reservoir goes on & off very easily. It's has very convenient tip storage area on it, which gets completely covered by the reservoir finished using. Even on its lowest setting, a powerful stream along with maintaining a 90 degree does a great job of flossing my teeth.
I purchased this to replace a waterpik I had used for years that finally needed to be replaced. I like the larger water reservoir and the adjustable water pressure. I credit the Waterpik for my excellent gum health. I still have my wisdom teeth and my dentist is impressed with my ability to maintain good hygiene especially in that area. Very happy with my upgrade!
I started using water pins in my 30s when I was getting cavities and my gums bled easily. Since I started using a water pick I have about one cavity every ten years. Most of these were revisions of older fillings. When I use the water pick I am always amazed at the amount of food that was stuck between my teeth. Sure, I have some crowns, but after 75 years of use my teeth are in great shape or so the dentist tells me. I think my water pick plays a big role in keeping my teeth and gums healthy. No bleeding, no cavities and a healthy mouth or teeth reduces your risk for heart disease.
It's a great machine After brushing my teeth and use the water pik gets so much food particles
I have used a WaterPik for over 10 yrs. I'm still amazed how much food particles remain after I floss. Now several members of my extended family use one daily also.
So far so good! I have been using it for almost a month. The adjustability is a very nice feature. My mouth always feels fresh and clean after use. I expect it to be a part of my oral hygiene from now on.
We originally bought the classic and then saw the travel size that came with the Ultra. Why aren't the tips compatible? We finally tried the Ultra after our Classic failed and thought it didn't have the same power as the Classic so we bought another Classic. So now we have to buy two different style replacement heads. Must have been marketing that found a way for people to buy more replacement accessories.
I got this for Christmas and I love using it. It makes my mouth feel so clean. However, it can be hard to get used to, especially because you have to hold the button down to stop the water (which can be a little tricky with wet hands)! Overall, I really like it.
When using, you must press a button on the handle to stop the water jet. The button is VERY hard to press and keep pressed! I often squirt myself in the face or my mirror.
I bought the Classic in January. The hose came off the handle & it won't go back on. I just had dental surgery and I have to have something that works. Help!
