My dental hygienist recommended WaterPik, so I thought I would try it. I was scared and apprehensive about it - bought a model with a cordless device, so I could avoid the mess everyone talks about. It has worked out well and I look forward to using it in the shower at night. Mouth feels clean and fresh and it's part of my dental routine. I hope it's working on my plaque!
My hygienist recommended the Waterpik to me. it's a wonderful device that does the job well. It effectively and deeply rinses out the mouth particularly the molars. This will keep the mouth free of food particles, which will ensure oral health.
I know almost everyone gets the gentle reminder from their dentist to floss more... this product makes keeping my teeth clean so easy. It's fast and effective and easy to use. My husband and I both have been pleased with this product and have found we've been cleaning between our teeth way more. I hope my dentist will be pleasantly surprised.
This waterpik works so well, even when using a mouthwash like Crest Complete or Listerine. It really gets into the spaces between the teeth. Much better than thread floss.
I've been really happy with the Waterpik WF-21W010 overall. It's easy to use, lightweight, and does a great job removing debris and making my mouth feel much cleaner than traditional floss alone. The water pressure is strong enough to be effective without being uncomfortable, and it's especially helpful around gums and hard to reach areas. The cordless design is convenient for travel and keeps the bathroom counter less cluttered. Battery life has been solid for my normal daily use, and filling the reservoir is quick and simple. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the water reservoir could be a little larger, since I sometimes need to refill it to fully finish flossing. It can also get a bit messy until you get used to the angle and pressure settings. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking to improve their oral hygiene routine, especially if traditional flossing is difficult or inconsistent.
Doesn't good enough water. You have to beater quickly to do your whole mouth and that makes it feel like you aren't doing a good job catching every tooth.
Really effective in getting between teeth and blasting any particles. I do find the need to follow with floss since there are areas where the teeth touch.
I have to refill this often when using but I don’t mind. I’d rather not have a larger canister taking up space on my counter. It’s a little difficult to get every last drop of water out when rinsing it out. Maybe having a bigger opening might help as water gets caught up inside and it’s not easy shaking it all out for cleaning and proper drying. I haven’t noticed any significant results yet but I do find this does loosen any food particles my toothbrush or floss may have missed.
I like it but the switch to turn it on and off is a little hard to use - it seems to stick sometimes.
I am still trying not to hate the thought of having to use my new waterpik. I use it every other day. It is just not like my old waterpik. The two power settings are a challenge. It just takes practice. I worry about how it dries over night and to clean it but I will use vinegar.
