Waterpik Low-Pressure Jet Tip, JT-360E

I recently underwent a procedure having a dental bridge installed, and the dental assistant informed me of my urgent need for a Water Pik. I purchased mine at once, and I can cabidly aver that I cannot imagine how I did without it for so many years. I owned one of the original 1970s Water Piks, but this one is so much better and, as it turns out, essential for my oral hygiene requirements.

I have had some experiences with gum, disease and utilizing the water. Pick water floss has helped to reverse my condition, which is now stable. This device, along with regular brushing, and dental appointments, have really made a difference regarding my Dental Care.

Very effective in cleaning in between teeth with its strong flow of water. Just the right amount of pressure. There is enough water in the chamber for about 30 seconds of cleaning which may be enough but one can always fill it again if you need more time!

So far I am pleased with using this product. My only comment is that the water reservoir glass is such a dark blue it's hard to see when it is full until the water starts overflowing from it. A lighter colored plastic would be better. Other than that, so far so good.

I've used it enough to charge it a 2nd time--the initial time was a looong charge and the 2nd took over 12 hours and then I unplugged it. The only help in knowing when it needs charging is the motor slows, and I think it's fully charged when the green light on the cord stays green without flashing. The water 'piking' seems a little less powerful than the other flosser brand I had. I'm actually still getting used to this particular flosser.

My teeth feel better and cleaner. I love the fresh feel and to see all the food that gets removed from between my teeth. Wish I had started years ago. Much better than flossing.

I've had three of this version over the years. The first was dependable and lasted ten years. I swore by it, and my dentist was pleased. The second was weak, needed daily charging and stopped accepting a charge altogether after two years. So far, the third unit is forceful and strong; I hope it lasts as long as the first one. But what was the story with #2? Would the company be willing to give me some future credit toward a strong #4?

This is the first water flosser I've used so I'm newbie. I gave 4 star because I don't care for the bulkiness of the handle. I'm also trying to get use to the on and off control, a little difficult for me when turning off before taking out of my mouth. I do love how clean it makes my teeth and gums feel after flossing. I also have been using dental floss to see how much it is cleaning between my teeth and it definitely does a great job. Like I said, I'm new to the water flossing always used dental floss (until the terrible change in dental floss now) so I saw the waterpik on sale and thought I'd try it out. So far I like it and will continue to use it till the battery wears out. That is a negative, cannot replace battery. Also, when first charging it takes 24 hours to charge and that is quite a long time.

I love the addition of the water pic to my dental routine everyday. I feel confident that it is getting the debris from between my teeth that sometimes brushing doesn't always get. I just got new tips for the one I have and I think they will add even more. Great product.

I'm 66 yrs old. I must say I'm a little bit on the fence with this Waterpic because the reservoir does not last with the water very long. I did get it for a good price. I guess I got what I paid for. This is not the type of Water pic that I would purchase again. I want one that the water last longer. It's a good product however I would not recommend this product if you wanting something that has a longer reservoir. It is compact for travel.
