This is my first Waterpic. I have used this accessory to clean the pockets I have. I kept it on low pressure and it seemed to work very well. Along with the other accessory I used, my teeth and gums to feel cleaner. I just have to remember to turn off the water before removing the pic from my mouth.
You need way too much practice to make this attachment useful. I'm an oral surgeon and I wager that the average person will not benefit because they don't know if they are doing it correctly. This of all the attachments requires the most hand and feel coordination which ideally takes months.
I love my new water-pik. It works well and is easy to use. I read the directions and put the water pik into my mouth before I started the machine. I highly recommend this.
I've just had full mouth dental implants placed 2 months ago. It was so hard to get the food "unstuck" above and below my implants. This product is a god send to me!
I was pleasantly surprised to see so many food particles falling into the sink after using my electric toothbrush. Now I feel my teeth are not clean until I use my waterpik. Hoping the pik reduces the pockets around my teeth.
My wife has used a water pic for years and loves it. I had never used one until recently and although it hurts to admit it; she's right. I can't believe how great it makes my mouth feel. I am almost looking forward to my next dentist appointment.
It's very loud. The tank is too small to complete a cleaning. Does not replace regular flossing. Tried all the attachments and can't see a difference between them.
My gums needed this tool!!! Lotta blood came out of my mouth with this tool even on low pressure, but that's how bad shape my gums were this Tool is made him healthy again
I use this implement exclusively and is the reason I purchased a Waterpik. This implement is for flossing/cleaning deep pockets and is effective for supplementing regular dental floss with a forceful jet of water set to my comfort level. It provides an extra measure of dental hygiene by reaching deeper than regular dental floss.
I needed an accessory for my Waterpik that specifically helped me to target the pockets that have developed due to gum disease, keeping those pockets bathed and clean. The tiny tip really helps me to direct the water stream from my oral irrigator into those tough hard to reach areas.
