I got this for our elder Chug. She's about the average height of a Chihuahua, but her body build is all Pug. She's generally pretty calm, enjoys riding in the car, and stays in her spot while I'm driving. I got this to help keep her safe and more comfortable while in the car. I usually fold a blanket or two and place them on the bottom of the seat, then put her in, and buckle her up. The seat is durable and super easy to clean. I love that it helps keep stubborn dog hair off my interior. I have an suv and set it up in my middle row by using the head rest straps in front of, and behind her. If you adjust it properly, there is virtually no swaying or anything like that. There are different ways to suspend the seat, so chances are you can find one that works well with your vehicle and keeps your pet comfortable. I was pretty skeptical about these and honestly, waited a long time to purchase one of these seats. But seeing how much my dog enjoys traveling in it, I wish I would have gotten it sooner. We have another dog who jumps around a lot in the car, and I'm not sure how well it would work for him. I'm considering getting the larger seat so he can try it out as well. I would personally recommend this seat, especially for elderly dogs like mine, that would appreciate a little extra comfort and security.

Bringing home new 10 Week pup and I wanted a safe car seat and not to hold her. She will get used to riding this way. I fit a old 18x18 pillow inside for comfort. Harness connect is long enough to latch to harness without an extender. I suggest attaching to harness and not the collar incase of accident, dog wont choke. Seatbelt fits over head rest with adjustable straps, The seat sits high so dogs can see the view out window. Great price.

Exactly what I was looking for. The front strap works better wrapped on the Driver/Passenger head rest.

I ordered 2 for my small poms. They came in pretty quickly and look like they will hold well. I'll update if there is any issue.

We're very disappointed with the product. We did not receive directions for use of car seats or straps. Product we received is not good. We need a refund and/or exchange on the "small size". It does not fit.

There aren't any support poles on the sides, just thin pieces of foam that feel like a pool noodle. Not sure how they got the long strap to go up to the back of the seat without it folding in on itself. I had to hook the long strap around the front seat. Disappointed...

This is a pitifull product!! My dog weighs 10 pounds and when I set him in this product, it just folded up on him. Don't waste your time or money on one.

No instructions as to where second latchbelt attaches to. Sides soft I went in store and 5mins later came out to my Chihuahua standing up on car floor so as not to hang himself! Terrible!
