I didn't realize that I was getting a cloth shower curtain with a vinyl backing. However, I am very glad I did. It is working well for me. It keeps the water in the tub and then when it is dry, I pull it outside the tub and let it hang. It hangs very nicely and looks neat and clean. There are magnets sewn into the corners and those adhere to my tub keeping the curtain nicely in place. I think, for the money, it is a very good value and well made. It is nothing fancy but it is practical.
Nice vivid, bright white. Definitely waterproof, lightweight %26 easy to hang. Great value for the money. I'd recommend to family %26 friends %26 even repurchase. Not sure about longevity as this is a recent purchase but expect it will hold up well - we'll see!
Great shower liner , very durable , could be used with or without a shower curtain . I did use with a shower curtain , also from WalMart , they look great and hang nicely ! Highly recommend !
The liner is claimed to be moldproof, however mold accumulates at the bottom seam. Above the seam there is no mold and it doesn't leak water (unlike other similar liners). As long as you are ok with occasionally soaking the bottom in a bleach solution about once per month, which is still easier than PVC liners then it's fine.
I like this liner, except that it collects hair and face mask bits. I spray it with the shower sprayer yet it sticks. I have to throw it in the washer every few weeks, so it is higher maintenance than my other one that is smooth. It's your basic cheap shower curtain, but it gets the job done for as long as it lasts!
This is an average shower liner. It has a soft feel and texture on one side with a plastic, waterproof coating on the other. I purchased this liner in white and I can say it is a bright white. I wash this liner on cold water, delicate cycle and send it through the dryer on a delicate, low temp drying cycle. Even at the low temp, the plastic coating wrinkled and is showing signs of heat damage. I can also say this is not mildew resistant as the description suggests. I found that this liner seemed to attract mildew more quickly than my previous liner that was in a different fabric material. I have to soak, wash, and dry this liner more frequently than the liner I previously used.
I would have given it 5 stars. I was moving to a new place and wanted to get a better liner and never tried fabric. It felt so nice and looked a lot better than plastic. After a few months the outside edge area became yellow/orange. It has a hem and would hold a lot of water and would stay wet all day. I have a walk-in shower and the water go outside after I got out of the shower. The only way to avoid that is leaving the curtain all the way closed, but I prefer to keep it slightly open for the shower to air out. I was wringing out the sides which was a pain, so I decided to go back to plastic. When this started happening, I checked the lower reviews to see if anyone else commented. I did see it mentioned. It would be great for a guest bath that wouldn't be used daily and recommend it just a shower with a tub.
It seemed to be of good quality but turned yellow in a few days (less than a week). I have a detachable shower head and I rinse the liner down after every shower so this is unacceptable. A complete waste of money.
I've bought this brand fabric shower liner before and it was great. Quality of this one is very, very cheap. Almost feels like paper. Save your money and get a cheap plastic one, it is better quality than this.
awful curtain. turning pink overtime from bacteria and mildew probably. i wash my bathroom and have a detached shower head. unacceptable item. going back to the old liner style.
