Why natural food coloring? Our daughter has seizures and years ago the doctors looked at us strangely when we said red and blue food dyes triggered seizures. Now the doctors are saying there is something to this. Ice Cream with blue food coloring in twenty minutes our daughter went into a seizure, and the same with red food coloring. So much of the foods we eat has artificial food coloring, read the labels! Now we have a little more peace of mind using natural food coloring. The color is no as bright in some of the colors, but why take a chance.

Watkins food coloring is the way, safe and fast way to add light or bold colors to cakes, Easter Eggs, drinks and more. All natural derivatives from juices and spices keeping them fresh from artificial and sometimes unhealthy dyes. Easy to mix to blend your own colors too. Simple for beginners as well as seasoned cooks and bakers. Neutral flavor so they will not alter your dishes taste. These are the way to go if you need food coloring. I give them 5 stars.

Had a tall order to fill, preservative and due free. This set was the best I found in a pinch. The colors are very subdued and light but o real it was perfect.

This is natural food coloring so if you are used to Wilton bright dyes these will be a bit of a shock. It takes a lot to achieve any color and you will not get a vibrant color. It is better for you and doesn't seem to affect the flavor of frosting. I would purchase again.

I will probably buy this again in the future just because I like the ingredients and the price isn't terrible but I wish I had known to buy several boxes for a small cake. I needed red and green frosting for a cake and I used the entire green bottle and the entire red bottle in maybe 1/3 cup of frosting and was left with light green and pink

My son wanted a colorful cake and trying to avoid artificial dyes I bought this. Made several layer using several of the dyes and when the cake came out of oven, almost all color was gone. Maybe I'd give 4 or 5 stars if this was made obvious in the listing the the colors disappear in the oven

Love that it's not artificial dye but I used a whole bottle of blue to get a very light blue icing color for cupcakes... and I made 10 cupcakes so I didn't even have enough blue drop to use for all my cupcakes for the party. Wish they worked better

I bought these online through Walmart. I selected these food dyes even though they were more expensive than other food dyes, hoping for better quality. Upon arrival, the food dye box was damaged and discolored with dye. They were shipped with 4 cans of condensed milk, so that may have added to the condition of the box of food dye, however, every single lid needed tightening on the food dyes. Every single one. At the price Watkins charges for these dyes, you would think they'd have the money to tighten the lids.

Thought I'd buy this to replace artificial coloring. These colors are terrible. The red is very cool, almost purple. The blue is okay, also a little purple. The yellow is slightly green. And the worst part is 50 drops equals 1 drops of the artificial. Find a different brand or just don't color anything

poor quality. red coloring didn't make the white chocolate look red! used the whole bottle and the chocolate only looked dark pink!! so disappointing.
