This is not the first time I've purchased this root beer concentrate. We use it to flavor ice cream for our Ninja Creami. My kids that like root beer enjoy this flavor.
I used to purchase McCormick, but they quit selling it. I drank homemade root beer as a child always loved it this this root beer extract is very good. Delicious.
Used for flavoring some low carb cookies made mostly with egg whites. Hard to get some of the other flavors to work with our recipe, but this has come through better than some of the others we've been trying out.
I add this to cola when I feel having root beer. Also great in vanilla protein shakes!!
Fantastic for white chocolate chip cookies!! Must buy!
my item came , and i smelled it through the box. the cap was off, box was wet, seal on top was broken.
Being someone that actively avoids any products containing high fructose corn syrup its really easy to spot it now. That "sugar" has the effect of losing its taste the more of it you eat. With that being said this socalled root beer extract tastes and smells EXACTLY like cheap pancake syrup which is nearly pure high fructose corn syrup. No matter how much or how little of this i used it just tastes like pure hfcs! Thats not what the ingredients say but these companies hide soooo many things under the natural flavoring label. If I were so inclined id send this off to be analyzed but im already down $5 buying this bottle of pure dissatisfaction.
Was really excited to find this because I had just found a recipe that called for Root Beer Extract/Concentrate. It certainly smelled like Root Beer but it left a very chemical taste in the dessert I made using it. Very disappointing
I used a entire bottle in a 1 gallon jug still cannot taste root beer. $5.50 for flavored water, I could have got that with a 30 cent package of Kool-Aid
Doesn't really taste like root beer kind of taste medicine like
