Worth every penny
This always adds an extra layer of flavor to any cake I make either from scratch or even a box mix! Also this was a great value and this was a much bigger bottle than I even thought I ordered! Will continue to order items from Watkins and I am glad Walmart now carries this line of spice and extracts.

Great butter substitute! ! !
All that butter flavor in a convenient booze-like flask! If you live alone with cats, and enjoy eating butter by the stick, or margarine out of a tub, this product is for YOU! You can chug amazing butter flavor right from the bottle without fear of all that nasty cat hair getting in your mouth.

I have started adding this to almost all my baking recipes. It has improved the taste in my recipes, family members have started asking me for the new recipe I'm using.

Perfect for pastry, but pass on potatoes
Excellent value and Watkins is a trusted brand. No doubt would be a great buy for baking. Unfortunately, I purchased it for savory use and it is decidedly *not* well suited to that flavor profile, imo.

Love the quality!
I use butter extract for baking to bump up the butter flavor. It adds a little extra when you don't want to use additional butter. Love the quality and the price was great. Watkins makes excellent extracts.

it smelled like real butter. i was impressed with the taste. I'm glad i found Butter Extract. i will use it more in other dishes i prepare.
