Watkins Gourmet Organic Spice Jar, Cilantro Leaves, .63 oz

I'm a big fan of Watkin's products, we had a man come to our house in IA in the 1970's that sold Watkins spices out of his car as his job. He was handicapped and my Mom loved the freshness then and I enjoy them today for the same reason. Even my 2 girls look for Watkins spices at the store and pick those over any others.

I like the cap inside where you just open the lid and can shake this right into your food. It flows out easily. It isn't like the jars where you have to lift a tab to pour making it take another step. It is very handy to just grab this bottle and throw the cilantro in while you are cooking. I don't notice it tasting much different than other organic cilantro in a jar, but the color is a little duller. The taste is just as bright and fresh though. It is a little pricier than other brands though. It adds a nice touch of color and flavor to finish off a dish when you shake this on top. Cilantro has a lot of health benefits such as detoxing the body of heavy metals.

It was a good product. Affordable and not bad quality. I don't taste much of the cilantro when I put it in food but overall, it's not bad.

Great spice! I use it in everything almost every day in cooking and in my fruit and veggie smoothies!

Since the organic Great Value brand was out of stock for dried cilantro, this was the next best option, price wise. Everything is up-to-par, aside from the price. Hence, my 4-star rating.

Just trying to offset the fake 5 star reviews by jrwatkins. I wonder if there's a relation between that reviewer and the product?
