Watkins Pure Vanilla Bean Paste, 2 oz. (Plastic Container)

I just discovered this item last week when I was making homemade vanilla ice cream. It is so much more economical that purchasing the vanilla bean and convenient to use. It is a paste but it is easy to pour out of the bottle. The flavor of my ice cream was just as good as using a more expensive vanilla bean, which you use up with one batch of ice cream. The paste is 2 ounces and i used 1 tablespoon for the recipe. So I still have eough vanilla paste for 3 more batches of ice cream.

That's exactly what I needed for my cinnamon rolls! Not too liquid like extract and not too dry like powder. I especially love that it has real vanilla bean pieces in it. The bottle size is perfect (you don't need much) and the dark amber glass keeps it fresh and protected from light

What is there to say about Watkins brand? it has been a GO TO Brand for generations. This ompany has stuck to the business code of a premium product that made it what it was and still is today! Rich deep vanilla flavor, no whimpy maybe its vanilla taste here, you know its vanilla with out a doubt and its not a slap you in the face but more like awarm hug from Grandma for your taste buds. It was no second guessing on what brand I was buying for cookies forour stand, Watkins it is!

I tried it for the first time. I expected more flavor or something. But it lasted well. I don't bake as many sweets as I used to. I won't complain It works well.

this everything its supposed 2 b. comparing price with extract, thus is for sure the winner. recipes worked just as well too. watkins is also my goto brand.

This vanilla bean paste is less costly, than others, yet still provides a stronger vanilla flavor than the regular extracts. I use it to make my homemade vanilla ice cream and it works perfectly.

Had to return as arrived damaged. Top was unscrewed and filter half open so product spilled all over inside of box and was quite a mess. Needed for baking today so had to run out and purchase more.

i ordered this and received a great value bottle of vanilla extract inside the box instead

when I received the box. it was ok. looked like the ad. very nice. the box was not empty. it had a small jar with liquid in it. that was when i knew something wasn't right. I looked at the jar when low and behold the jar said imatation vanilla. it was switched y'all. I can't cook with this. the main ingredient of my prize winning French toast(my family's words ) was gone. I love this beand. but where did my bean go...
