Waverly Inspirations 1 Yard Cut 100% Cotton Prints Fabric Large Dot Onyx 44" Wide for Quilting & Sewing

This is a black fabric with white dots. It is 100% cotton. It's definitely a fun design that can be made into many things. I'm not sure what I will use it for, I just knew I had to have it. I did open it, wash it in hot water and dry it in the dryer. There wasn't much shrinking, which I loved. The fabric is a yard long by 44-ish inches wide. The fabric is a decent weight and not transparent or flimsy. The colors are vivid and the pattern didn't fade when washed. I love this fabric so much, I'm going to grab two more, just because. It would make a cute retro skirt or shorts. There is red fabric with the same design that would compliment this fabric and make something fun to wear.

I bought this to trim a pillowcase. It's a nice, rich black with big white dots. I will probably also use it in a scrappy quilt. I haven't washed it yet so I'm not sure if it bleeds much or shrinks much. If it's like my other Waverly cotton fabrics it'll probably bleed a little at first so I usually wash before sewing with it. Then I wash with a Shout Color Catcher sheet. It'll probably shrink a bit, mostly in the width. Usually the fabric shrinks so it's wonky. Ends up a trapezoid shape instead of a rectangle. But that goes for more expensive quilting cottons as well. This is a nice, affordable fabric.

This is a very nice fabric. I think it will be so cute as arms or legs for the dolls that I wish to make for the Operation Christmas Child boxes.

I love that I can purchase such cute fabrics from Walmart! I am ordering more to add sleeves to the top I am making.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I've used the large polka dot fabric for a product since 2010 and I always bought it from Joann's. I needed to find a replacement and this works. The fabric from Joann's was a better value, but this will do. The only thing is I wish you could buy multiple yards in a single cut. This will not only create more waste, but I'm limited in the length I'm able to offer now because the design doesn't allow to add a seam in that direction.
