Waverly Inspirations 3 Yard Cut 100% Cotton Solids Fabric, Lacquer, 44\" Wide for Quilting & Sewing

PROS: It doesn't shed the warp threads any more than more expensive fabrics. It's less expensive than local quilt stores. Easily available as Wal-Mart is open more hours and on weekends VS local quilt stores. CONS: Wal-Mart doesn't think quilters %26 sewers value their fabric dept. So, they shrunk the department to only prepackaged fabric and and some notions. They also need to keep their stock up as we have over 115 quilters in our Alpena, MI quilt guild alone. Not everyone can travel to get a better variety of fabrics.

I use Waverly fabrics for my quilt piecing and the back layer. It is easy to cut and has beautiful colors. I can not go wrong with this material line.

This 3 yard bundle is a cost effective way to purchase quality fabric, well priced, that will perform well in your quilting project. I recommend it without qualification.

The fabric is good. I use it a lot for making quilts. Sometimes I have a little problem getting the quantities. I need at one time and I have to go back and re-order it.

I bought this for a queen sized quilt backing. It is really nice fabric. I was surprised at the quality for the price. I recommend it for any project that requires a medium weight cotton.

Overall it worked for what I needed it for. However, it was not the size listed on the packaging. Actual measurements were 106”x44” so 2” less than the advertised length. Fabric also frayed badly after being cut so be prepared for that when considering your seam allowance.

I washed this with All Free N Clear gentle detergent. There are patches of fabric where some of the color washed out, so the color is now uneven. And there was blue staining along some of the folded edges and some small blue spots near the fold on the red material. The spots and blue staining were on the folded side so you could not see this when you buy it. This is the worse fabric I have ever purchased. I can only use it to test fit a new sewing pattern, then I will throw it away. Will never buy Waverly Fabrics ever again. Please don't waste your money on this.

Boy, I wish people would leave honest reviews and save others from wasting their time and money! This fabric only barely feels like flannel and it is NOT flannel! It is so super thin and a really odd sized cut. I know some will say you get what you pay for but why can't products be accurately represented so shoppers get what they expect? That seems like better business to me. Happy customers, less returns. That is good for everyone. This fabric is ok for some things. The print is nice and crisp. It's just not flannel as it is identified in the description. It is paper thin-you can see through it. I don't know for sure it is even cotton because it feels more like polyester but I'm not going to burn it to test it. Walmart has some cute fabrics but shop expecting them to be strangely sized, order at least twice what you think you will need, and keep your expectations low so you may be surprised and happy.

Appearance: I ordered White. The piece that I received was stained. I ordered this online because it's hard for me to walk into the store. I am handicapped. Somehow, I will have to find someone to help me, to go to the store to exchange it or get a refund. Normally this fabric is okay for sewing. The store employee who filled my order was not careful to send me a product that was not damaged. If you order online, I hope you have better luck.
