Waverly Inspirations Chalk Paint, Ultra Matte, Pink Sky, 8 fl oz

This chalk paint ie easy to use (I recommend using a chalk paint brush for a smoothness and cover). The way it looks on furniture, smooth with that chalky finish really gives furniture a classic look. You must buy a sealer as well to seal after you paint to avoid chipping, etc. Applying to both furniture and to some of my unfinished wood crafts it has been versatile.

I have completed a few wood furniture projects using Waverly Inspirations Acrylic Matte Chalk Paints. They really do cover well and are easy to use and clean up after. I do seal it with one of their brush on clear coats and have not have issues. We do use coasters to help keep the surface nicer. This Dusk turned out really pretty.

This paint is shiny when wet, but dries with the matte sheen you'd expect from chalk paint. The color is a soft blue-gray, perfect to balance out brighter colors or patterns. I'd even call it a neutral as it pairs well with most colors. The bottle recommends two coats, and if you're painting a surface that might have pits and grooves in it, like a rock, I'd definitely recommend the two coats. It'll help smooth out the surface. My picture shows what it looks like with just one coat. The paint applies easily, dries quickly, and cleans up easily. Would recommend!

I chose this color for the inside( L.R.) side of the front door. I wanted light and airy to replace the rather ugly paint that has been there forever. This is 2 coats and goes on with any brush. I am using a bristle brush. I actually got this for something else, but I like the color here. No prep except wiping with damp cloth to get dust, grime and fingerprints off. Waverly is a very dependable paint for many projects. Furniture, crafts and even your front door.

I've wanted to try the chalk based paint ever since I saw it on a crafting show. It's so easy to use, no prep. I love the matte finish, and you can use it on almost anything. I did a little test with some sponge painting on a flower pot for the garden. I really like it, and clean up is easy too.

I was very surprised at how good this paint is. I’ve used Dixie Bell for a long time and thought I’d try this because the other is so expensive. I actually prefer this paint. It goes on well dries quickly and doesn’t have as rough a finish. Transfers adhere well and I’m very happy with it

The color isnt exactly what I thought it would be. The color, Pink Sky, is a little misleading. It's pretty but it's definitely more red than pink. I'll mix it with white to make it more pink.

Ordered this to be delivered. Paint came all yellowish and thick. You could tell it was very old. I had to mix the 2 bottles and add some paint thinner to get it to work. Not pleased. On the bright side..mthe color is beautiful. If you want to buy this I recommend buying in store so you can make sure paint is fresh and not yellowing.

i used this product in several shades of blue and lavenders to paint the flowers of a living room accent rug. Pleased with the results. Ease of use and clean up. I would recommend and use again.

night sky is nothing like the color indicated on the lid. it is more that 80s "colonial blue" very pale and dusty blue looking. the coverage is not the best, it took all 16 oz to cover a 47x40 dresser that i had sanded and washed. with the second coat, i added some acrylic paint, black and a brighter blue to try to achieve the color it was supposed to be. overall it would have been cheaper and less aggravating to buy behr and have it custom colored. i have used behr chalk paint in the past and liked it much better than the waverly.
