It will do if you don't have "heavy food" to dig into! The color is very pretty........a Gold! It's not Extremely strong like regular dinnerware. But it will do if you just have everyday food! Just be careful and don't overdo it using these or they will break! They're not like regular sturdy silverware.
I used these for salad on a regular meal. It wasn’t a special occasion or anything. Depending on who’s using it will depend on if you can use them more than once. Some people, like my mom, will reuse things that I consider disposable after the first use. If people are gentle you could wash these and use them again. In my house that is next to impossible. My kids are rough and my son snapped one of the pieces because he was being rough. It has a nice metallic finish and should last if you don’t have curious kids that don’t want to bend them.
The Way to Celebrate Copper Metallic Plastic Serveware, 2 ct add beauty to your Thanksgiving meal while keeping the decor uniform and decorative just for the holiday. The matching serveware add charm to your traditional family Thanksgiving meal with their copper color and Saturday plastic materials.
This duo is good enough for serving nothing to thick or heavy as they ate not that sturdy. I think a good side dish or salad would be good to use these on. Anything to heavy might snap them. They are good disposable utensils when you are trying to keep clean up to a minimum. The color is fall like to me. You could wash them and reuse if you wanted to but I dont think they would hold up with multiple uses unless its a salad. All in all they would work for the intended purpose and you toss.
This serving set is made out of a medium weight plastic that is a metallic copper color. The serving set weighs 1.2 ounces and measures about 10 inches in length. There is a spoon and a spork (spoon/fork). They will be good for easily scoopable food such as stuffing or mashed potatoes. The packaging does NOT say they are dishwasher safe, so I hand washed them to be safe. Since they are not heavy weight material, I would say that you could use them a few times. But they wouldn’t be considered long term serving ware. I would consider them disposable (but multi use if taken care of). They are washed and ready for Thanksgiving Dinner.
Cute and inexpensive way to dress up thro away utensils! Love the color for Thanksgiving/fall parties. Goes really well with all the Thanksgiving/fall themed paper plates that are available as well.
I don't think these are meant to be used for anything other than decoration. They appear to be painted plastic that I would not use for anything other than display.
I love the size of this set and have several! The color is nice too and goes well with the fall theme. These are sturdy and will last a long time or could be for one time use at a gathering where you don't want to wait and bring your dishes home.
It seems there are never enough serving spoons to go around at Thanksgiving. These are a great, inexpensive alternative to buying stainless that then clutters up your drawer the rest of the year. You can wash and reuse if you like.
This serving set is really nice looking but not very strong. The spoon and fork handles are strong the actual fork and spoon parts bend with very little pressure.
