This humidifier is a great value! It is compact and covers a good amount of space for its size. The wheels work well, and you can move it easily from one place to another. I do not agree with the stated space coverage. The container is small. It works well for a big room. Also, you can notice when it is on.
This is a nice dehumidifier; I love the compact size and effectiveness, energy efficiency and quiet operation. I am using the included drain hose which works perfectly for my needs. The gravity drain works much better than a pump when a drain is nearby. It has basic settings and an easy-to-read display panel. I was initially skeptical about the quiet operation claims, but after several weeks of operation, I can confirm this is a very quiet unit.
My home was built in 2020 & my bedroom is so humid in the summer. I had an old, heavy dehumidifier in the attic but don't use it because it sounds like a helicopter is in the room with me. That old machine was loud. After some research I chose this 34 pint model and am so glad I did. It took over a week of constant use but now my bedroom has a humidity level of 48-49%! My sinus congestion has diminished quite a bit and this machine is so quiet I don't hear it at all. It's fairly lightweight and the water container is easy to handle. My room is about 425 SF and I keep the door closed. If you're looking for a quality machine that gets the job done and at a fair price then give this one a chance.
Works as described. not big enough for my application.
Helped get the moisture level down in my wet basement!!
Seems to be doing its job
It pulls 5 gallons of water from the basement about every 24 hours when it's humid. Great little dehumidifier! It's quiet, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it upstairs.
Its much smaller then I imagined and it fills up quickly in the basement room. But it is very quiet and that's important to me. I realy thought I chose the white one when I ordered it, so I was a bit disappointed that a black one came.
I bought this dehumidifier for my 1170 square foot basement. It's advertised to handle up to 1500 square feet. Unfortunately, it's just not powerful enough. I set it for 45% humidity and after 2 weeks of continuous operation, it never got below 53%. It seemed to just get stuck at 53% and couldn't take the humidity any lower. On the plus side, it is very quiet and would probably work well in a smaller space.
I had a 50 pint Honeywell for years. It kept the basement humidity at 55% and would keep up fine and even shut off at times. This Kesnos is a 50 pint, very wimpy, slow blower, moisture percent does not go below 65%. Very disappointed as their claims do not match the performance. Just being honest here. Might be fine for small spaces, not for 1000 square foot basement. Besides that, works good, quiet, but cannot do the job for our situation.
