Waykar 120 Pint Dehumidifier for Basements & Home, up to 6500 Sq Ft, Energy Star

After buying and discarding big Brand name dehumidifiers I decided to try this one. Was easy to set up with hose to drain into our floor drain. The two year warranty is unique and indicates the company stands behind their products. I don’t know if it will expire shortly after the warranty is up like the name brand dehumidifiers does.

This unit is AMAZING! I wish the tube was a little longer but otherwise it is definitely doing it's job.

I've had Waykar 120 about a month and so far this machine works as advertised. I was skeptical after reading reviews (all brands and models have around 10 % one star reviews). Under normal conditions, my 3000 square foot house is running about 75% humidity this summer. The Waykar 120 gets that down to low 60s during the day and mid 50s at night. I run it about 8 hours a day and it removes 3 to 4 gallons of water in that time.

I like the dehumidifier very much, but wish the water container was bigger. I like to use the water on my plants rather than using the hose to send it to my sump pump. A larger water container would allow me to dump it less often.

I find the unit works as expected. It maintains the humidity in my basement My only suggestion is the color of the labels on the control panel must be made darker so you can see them.

Arrived very quickly %26 working very well removing humidity. The reservoir that collects the water is horrible, only about 2 %26 a half gallons at a time %26 it fills to the very top so when you empty it is difficult to pull out %26 no matter which side I pour from it spills over the side %26 splashes. It has no pour spout or corner. I'm using in a basement %26 wipe the floor, but you would not want this on your carpet or hardwood floors. I feel that constantly pouring to empty over the float with the styrofoam will weaken the float. The cord seems short also. Casters work great %26 easily moved. I have no plan to return %26 I did take out the extended warranty but one of the big selling points was that it could be returned to Walmart.

80 pints at 96°F 24 pints at 65°F Not impressed ! Probably will return it to Walmart store ! Study hard when buying anything cuz they try to make it sound greater than it is ! In my opinion it’s not for 5500 square feet ! Maybe more like 1500 square feet ! Just to be fair I took a photo the one beside it is a 50 pint !

TERRIBLE!! Arrived damaged and neither Walmart nor Wykar will send a shipping label so I can return it. Both Walmart and Wykar said to return it through the other party. I submitted a fraud claim through my credit card company. Buy from Amazon so you can at least return it if it arrives damaged like this one did. I won't purchase from walmart.com again.

when I plugged it in it did not work, I sent it back it was defective. I ended up buying a GE with an electric pump that would pump excess water up to 16 ft high...

We've never opened this. I've been trying to return it contacting the seller over and over and I get no answer. It does date that they would respond within 48 hours. I weigh three or four days and do it again still no response when we got it we realized it was a lot smaller than what we thought so it's unopened and again trying to return it, but there's no way to return it. To Walmartlot itself has to go back to the seller and the seller will not respond.
