WD Blue 1TB SATA 2.5" Mobile Hard Drive

It's exactly what it says on the tin: a 1 TB Hard Drive. I purchased it to expand storage on my security camera setup. It's been running for a couple of weeks without an issue. I've always had good luck with Western Digital drives.

The product worked great and it's no longer say I need to replace my harddrive but I didnt know I had to get a bootable device booster to install windows so I had to wait another two weeks. It should arrive today. Then I will hopefully have a working laptop again.

My laptops hard drive died after several years of use, and I replaced it with the exact same drive, I could not get Windows 10 reloaded, something wrong with the image disk I made when the computer was new, so i just downloaded Ubuntu and burned a install DVD disk, and it fired right up and has been working like a Champ.

This works perfectly! Its actually the same size as the hard drive I currently have on my laptop, and its compatible, so I literally have a full backup of all of my files and software, just in case! This is exactly what I needed, and it really gives me peace of mind! I will definitely be getting one for my husband too! I may even get an extra for my pictures, and family videos. Thus far, I literally have 0 complaints.

I purchased this HDD for my Windows PC to serve as a place to store documents and other files I don't need to R/W fast. This is so my SSD can be used to store things like games and such. The HHD works as intended, I have even moved my downloads, documents, videos, and pictures folders to it by using junctions.

This Hard Drive is working as expected . Can be used as replacement for 9 mm and 7 mm drives. Can be used for standard laptops or those tinny ones. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Walmart ad shows a retail boxed version of this drive. This is not what you get. You get an OEM, brown box version, very common in the electronics field, as they are bought in quantity, not individually packaged. However, I was able to register the drive for warranty purposes with Western Digital. In Amazon and Egg feedback, many receive the oem brown box and cannot register the drive.....so, this was ok.

speed was very slow. installation was easy.

I received this harddrive 03/11/23 , that is five months I was getting playback recording. Now the harddrive stopped working completely. It did not even work six months. The minimum time for this drives is a year. Don't fall for the reduced price. This harddrive is worth nothing
