It works great I was able to save all my games to the memory card and it was fairly easy to install. wish i would have purchased the larger size (4-8TB) but prices were starting to go up. I purchased a few weeks before the prices really were out of control.

It works. It fits. It's easy to install, once you get past the odd twist the cover to remove it dance. Oh, and the metal washer goes below the drive, then the screw on top (the washer is a standoff for the drive to align with the socket). PS5's ship with such a teeny tiny drive, this thing is a must install. Formatting was quicker than any drive I have ever met.

I've used WD drives for many PCs I've built and network storage. I was eyeing the PC version of this drive and once I saw the PS5 Licensed model I knew I was going to buy one. This works just as described! Easy to install! Watch the installation video Sony provides on their site. Too bad no one will ever see the LED the way the PS5 is designed though. The WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD for PS5 is a must-get upgrade. It's reliable, fast, easy to install, and should store games for as long as you own and use your PS5. I thought 2TB would be too small, but I was mistaken. This adds 2TB on top of the default 600GB of console storage. Furthermore, all PS4 games can be stored on an external SSD. So this is internal SSD essentially ensures your PS5 can download any game going forward. Get the extra space.

Like everyone else, I was terrified to pop the cover off my PS5. Just watch one of the many guide videos, take your time and be gentle and you'll be fine. Took me about 5 minutes total to install. Plugged all my cables in, started it up and it formatted right away. Now I have a ton of room for games and don't have to do the dreaded “pick one to delete” nonsense to make room. It's not cheap but you'll be glad you did it.

This was easy to install and now my son can load all of his games (both digital downloads and discs) and play without any lag or need to delete and reload. It was well worth the price with time and frustration saved.

A well-made SSD that provides the speed and reliability needed for a hard working game console. It can get hot, but it hasn't overheated on me yet. The heatsink seems innovative, and uses 'tiles' rather than 'fins.' It may be a little overpriced, but users should by this with confidence that it will just work.

So far so good. Easy to install. Read without a problem by my kid's PS5. Only time will tell of the rest.

item delivered to wrong address. package was to be signed for on delivery. I contacted Walmart customer service and they messaged seller about product and was told seller would reach out to me via email regarding a refund so I can just go buy the item in person. I waited over 48 hours and have not heard from the seller. I reached back out to customer service and they said they were forwarding to the refund department for review and that I would receive a email upon review and one regarding our conversation. No email has been received. this is beyond frustrating because I have waited so long for the item and because that is A LOT of money to lose out on. This seems to be a trend as I have had neighbors give me packages that were delivered to their house instead of mine. I have checked with all of my neighbors and they all say the same thing that they haven't seen it. the item says it was delivered but the item was definitely not received! if this continues I am going to have to file a claim to see about getting it refunded. I shouldn't have to go through this for a item o didn't received.
