This is a quality cribbage board. Made out of a solid hardwood, the holes are perfectly straight and the pegs are nicely made. In my excitement of playing the game, I have already dropped it and somehow scratched the board, and it still looks great. I am sure that this board will sustain more damage in the future. I had a hard time finding a real solid wood board and the effort is already paying off. I expect to get a lot of years of playing time out of this cribbage board.

Bought this for my son. He enjoys a good game of cribbage. The thing that would improve this is if it had a metal slide to keep the pegs in place and a latch for closure.

This product seemed overpriced from the start but I was looking for a quality product to give as a gift over the standard store model of cribbage boards so I went ahead and ordered it. Although at first glance it appeared to be made of quality wood, finish, etc. it had scratch like markings on the top that appeared to be made by a gear, maybe something during manufacturing, and also had a dent in the same area. At $37.99 price point I expected more, it will be returned.
