This loom fits all the superlatives! It is the BEST new creative fun I have experienced in a while! It is simple to use yet the simplicity does not distract from the beautiful art that it allows me to make. I have my grandchildren, ages 4 to 9, creating with it. I need to purchase another one!
Very happy with this loom. I like that it is adjustable, so numerous sizes of woven items are possible. I've woven a few items and so far the loom is sturdy. I like that it is wooden, and that it is easily disassembled for storage. Would definitely recommend for smaller weaving projects!
I got this for a friend with no weaving experience-- she said the booklet included was super helpful and informative to start a project. I recommend pairing this with different yarn weights for different projects as well!
I bought this as something novel to do during recovery from illness. I remembered doing a weaving project in elementary school and thought it would be fun again. It was easy to put together, light weight and fairly sturdy. I don't like how raw some of the edges of the wood are, or how the nuts/bolts have to be re-tightened so much, but some sand paper and a bit of plumber's tape should fix that. The overall value for the cost was decent, as I wanted a large frame, but I wish it had feet to stand like other models. I ended up purchasing the embroidery stand this company makes instead and it holds this loom really well, though it has the same wingnuts and raw wood edges issues as the loom. I would buy it again.
This loom is great to weave on, easy to warp and lightweight to handle. The only little thing was keeping the frame tightened with the sdrews provided, I fixed that by using some washers I had along with the loom's screws and all was good. I would suggest maybe adding washers to the assembly parts.
Easy to assemble and good for a beginner. Project booklet was not easy to read or follow, so used online beginner weaving videos. No shuttle included.
Love that it's adjustable and collapsible! Corners are a little bit loose, so sometimes it's a little bit wobbly, but it still works great. Excellent for starting out.
The loom goes together easily and I like the different sizes it adjusts to. It wiggles a little bit once put together-I imagined it would be more sturdy. This doesn't really matter though once it's strung and you're weaving.
it was not sturdy, a Heddle would help ,and not what I expected for 30 dollars
Not as nice as I'd hoped. No proper notches to hold the warp string so it slides off easily. The bolts are too short to hold the wing nuts in properly. It'll do the job I suppose but I wouldn't recommend it. I'm glad I had a coupon. I'm looking forward to saving for a better, proper loom.
