Weber 18" Detail Brush

I use the detail brush to clean the burner tubes. It worked well.

The stainless steel bristles hold up very well. The burnt on food deposits don't collect in the bristles and the 18” handle length allows you to clean while the grates are still hot.

This was given as a highly appreciated Christmas gift to an avid griller

I use this brush to get in between the grate bars, but now I'm wondering if this model should also be recalled due to the hazard/risk of the shards dislodging from the brush and getting into my food. I'm surprised Weber still sells steel wire brushes. I have a nylon brush for my grates now and feel more confident cooking for my family.

The brush is well made, but you can't get in between the grates very easily with it. Also, can't get into corners

This should be recalled. But don't expect Weber to make good on their pledge to replace recalled metal grill brushes. They apparently make the process for requesting replacements impossible to perform, just to keep from having to do so.
