Yummy Smokey woody flavors. I would buy this one again.
My go to pellet when grilling. Love the flavor complex.
Nice, solid pellet which works well in the Smokefire. No clogs and a very consistent burn. I have heard about some legacy pellet brands experiencing issues with too high or too low moisture content, which affects burn rate and smoke output. I don't know how these compare without more testing, but what I can say is my cook times and smoke levels have been extremely consistent across several bags - and in BBQ that is HUGE. Highly recommended.
I've had my EX6 a few years now, the Weber pellets, whilst expensive, do work very well in it, and the resulting cook never fails to satisfy my taste buds - I sometimes put a handful or three in a smoker box and get them smouldering enough to make more in the box smoulder too - works brilliantly to add some smoke flavour in my Family Q when that gets used for certain situations ;-) * Got my EX6 due to old sporting injuries making using a kettle and WSM too painful to use properly. Having the pellet flow controlled by the app etc made life soo much easier
These are the absolute best pellets. I am not one to really notice a huge difference in pellets (other than mesquite). First cook with them was some chicken wings. When I tried these at first, I noticed a unique smell that was interesting. That made me curious. But when I tasted the meat, I overwhelmingly could taste that smell and it was awesome. Fed some steak to my son and he complimented me on my rub. I had to explain that was not the rub he was tasting: It was the smoke. Amazing blend. Highly recommend!
Stellar pellets for SF! Would definitely purchase again. Only downfall is the pellets are no longer sold nearby and I have to order online.
I've been playing with different woods in my charcoal smoker for a while now. But ever since getting a SmokeFire pellet grill and using these pellets, I just now realized how amazing my smoked food can taste with the right blend of wood.
These were the first pellets that came with my smokefire. Really liked the flavor it added to my food. I've tried some other pellets and discovered that the I really like the GrillMaster Blend.
Just my preference, but I don't really care for flavored wood pellets. I like the charcoal pellets. I will say Weber pellets don't seem to produce as much ash as other brands. One of the things that would convince me to buy more, is make them available in retail stores. And price is kind of steep.
Big pellets, nice and dark. Smell so good while burning. So far chicken and back ribs were weakens with these pellets.
