I decided that I wanted to own one of each color 70th anniversary kettles. Since they were released two years ago it became a challenge to find them all. But I found a shop in Pensacola that had tHotRod Yellow, Hollywood Gray and diner green in stock. The 70th Anniversary kettles are beautiful and rare. They have full functionality and unique trim.
As a weber addict I had to get this new rock ‘n' roll blue 70 year anniversary kettle it's everything I love in an old kettle
Great kettle everything fits perfect, the bowl and lid fit perfectly I got the diner green and the color is amazing great cooker as all we we kettles are
I've used this for several meals, from grilling dogs to full meals, chicken thighs with baked potato and asprigras, and smoked a turkey breast . Very versatile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely throwback to the past, but with modern conveniences like the ash catcher. The hood ornament is really cool. The color looks even more stunning in person.
Love my new 70th Edition 22” Weber Kettle Grill. Had to get one as my first grill I purchased 45 years ago was this model and I loved it. My wife asked “what are you doing???” Probably because I have a 48” WOLF gas grill and a 36” Blackstone. Yes, I am guilty of loving to cook for the family and decided I needed to add to my arsenal with the new Weber. I'm so glad that I did as I now realize how much I missed this grill!
On my 2nd Weber Gas Grill but haven't owned a charcoal Weber in years and was considering one last year. When these came out, I just had to have one and Hot Rod Yellow was right up my alley. I look forward to many years of cooks on it, I hope my gas Weber doesn't get too jealous
Another great Weber product! This is only the third Weber we have purchased but my father was a Weber owner which got me started with an 18" kettle. We got a Jumbo Joe then a Summit charcoal grill then when I saw this one I wanted to get it to take when we are go on car cruises with our 59 Chevy. The color is perfect, the quality is what we have come to expect and the design touches make it fun but functional.
Weber has to get there company in line and stop putting out sub standard finishes on there lids and bowls. Youtube has alot of videos on the 70th series with poor quality of the lid and bowl combo. I like to see these limited runs of colors and sizes but the paint process is very poor. You are aware of this and it has to stop. You have a quality product when its done right but this hit and miss method is not working. I wish i bought the 26 Glen Blue but i missed out and the 22 Limited Edition Red. I wish you would come out with a limited 18 size.
The grill is beautiful but the quality of the legs are just bad. It makes the grill wobbly and just flimsy feeling. I wish I would have looked at other grills.
