Weber 6558 Griddle for Q1000 Series Grill

The grill is a quality product with no issues that I have found. It is solid made. My only negative is the high price.

We absolutely love our Baby Q as we have wanted one for quite a while and with having to isolate it was the perfect time to purchase one.It gives us so much variety with our meals thus not having to leave home more than necessary.We found that the dvd guide was so helpful to be able to utilise many ways to cook on our Baby Q.WE LOVE IT.

Weber hot plate adds another dimension to using my Weber

Great addition to grill for cooking bacon, pancakes or other campground foods. A little pricey when compared to price of entire grill.

This little griddle is money. Can slap six slices of bacon on it and have a decent morning. The extra grease goes through the slots and rolls down the side without trashing your BBQ. Clever design. Frying three or four eggs after the bacon is effortless. I'll probably do it again tomorrow. The only problem with this griddle is the punishment it lays on my six-pack.

Does what its designed to do but should be included as part of the standard package.

I like the griddle, but the surface still needs a bit of conditioning. My only real beef with Weber is that I bought 2 griddles to cover the entire surface and was not warned that I would extinguish the flame by putting 2 griddle surfaces on the BBQ. I guess I have a backup.

It is a good product, unfortunately before purchasing it, it is not very clear on the text or the photos of the product that it is only for half of the surface of the grill and not the whole grill to convert it into a full griddle (or I could not find that info). I hope in the future they will design a whole surface griddler to convert the Q 100/1000 grill into a full griddle. As it currently is, I feel the surface is too small to cook on the griddle for 2-3 people at the time.
