It is waterproof, and it's a good thing because we have had a lot of rain! It seems very well made, and stays on securely even during severe thunderstorms. The cover would be even better for me and my situation if it covered the whole grill station. The bottom is getting dirty from the rain, leaves, and other storm debris blowing on it.
Fits great, looks nice and works well for one season/summer. Purchased in July 2020, but after covering my grill from July 2020-April 2021, it became faded and brittle. I ended up ordering a new one for the remainder of 2021 season and suspect I'll have to do the same every year.
It's ok - it fits, has nice velcro straps to attach to the handles as shown, and 2 elastic straps with hooks to hold down the back. But it is short, doesn't cover the whole unit, so when it rains, water gets inside the grill's cabinets, etc. The material is a synthetic that's got a cheap, plastic feel to it. In fact, while it isn't all THAT hot in Connecticut, I took it off one evening, laid it over a railing, and with just the late sun, temp. about 80, the cover had stuck to itself in several places after maybe an hour in the sun. I had to be careful not to rip it getting it apart, and it did leave marks/blisters on the cover in spots. It's not lined like some better covers, either. All in all it's a nice fit, wish it covered the whole unit, and it's not likely to last long given the material they used.
Mine is partially covered but they weather too quickly and almost impossible to keep clean due to the rough finish even using a pressure washer.
I have a Trager also and love the cover for it. It's a much nicer fabric. The one from Weber tears easily and looks awful. But, I need a cover so had to order it.
This cover needs replacing every 9 months. Granted, it's exposed to the elements but I would imagine if Webber spent a little more money and their grill covers. They would last at least a year.
This is the third cover for my Weber Grill Center, they just don't last. The new one is already dry and cracked. We grill all year in the north east and when it's cold, the cover is a struggle to remove or replace. I wish Weber would make this cover from the same material as their Kettle Grill cover that is more pliable and has lasted for years.
My expensive grill station is two years old and this is the 3rd cover I have been forced to buy for it. You would think the company would be concerned about reputational risk but that doesn't seem to be the case. They continue to provide covers of very poor quality. I'm on the hunt for an after-market solution.
Cheap! Lasts for a year, cracks and falls apart. Also only covers the top half of a very expensive Weber grill.
I was so excited to receive this BBQ but it was damaged when it got here and one of the knobs were broken.... TO date i have not receive contact from the company and they have net resolve this issue, its been a month
