WEBER 92010901 electric bbq

It takes some getting used to, but in the end if you'll master the difference from gas to electric. The one thing the really works well, is the Griddle.

I have many grills and smokers; charcoal, pellet, and propane, plus the Ninja Woodfire oven. I wanted to add an electric grill and seriously considered the Ninja Woodfire Grill. After reading of issues with the Ninjas controller, pellet igniter, difficulty in cleaning the nonstick ridged griidle, I opted for the Weber Lumin for its simplicity and perfect size for my wife and me. My first cook was a reverse seared center cut tenderloin smoked with wood chips. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and grill marks.

We had to give up our Weber grill as it was gas and was a new rule to only have electric at our townhouses on the deck. Disappointed at first to part with our old grill which was still in good shape after many many years. But now we have the new Lumin larger one and are so happy that we bought it. No more running out of gas, easier to clean and also like that we can put the cooking grates which are in two parts in the dishwasher. When ever people were over for a BBQ they seemed impressed and are now thinking of replacing theirs. Very happy with the Lumin Grill.

Compact and powerful. This grill is a replacement for my old Weber which I had for 10 years. I will take better care f this one. This other one was left outside and neglected. This new unit heats up fast and chars the meat quick. I cooked a steak and it was fast. You have to watch your timing. It usual takes about 6 mi utes to cook my steak to medium rare. This unit cooks it in about 4-5.

The Lumin electric grill does a great job! Much better results than I expected. I really like grilling on one side and steaming on the other.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the versatility the LUMIN bar-b-que offers. Switching from gas to electric has been a snap. Cooking times are the same; i.e. 10 minutes an inch (500deg) for meat with gas works perfectly with the LUMIN at 500 deg. No guessing game when you make the switch from gas to electric. It is perfect for my condo balcony!

This grill does everything it says it can do. While I've only had it about a month, it does burgers, sausages and can simultaneously steam vegetables. I also bought the stand, which is plastic, but it seems very sturdy and the grill fits it nicely. I only wish there was a model one step bigger. I'm able to do 4 burgers and a plateful of steamed veggies (or I could do ~8 burgers) so it works for me 99% of the time. I have not tried the smoker feature.

It heats up faster than my Q grill and cooks very evenly.

I love this grill. Plug it in and works great. No gas or charcoal needed.

Good but not good enough, maybe good for an e-grill. It gets hot and sometimes after a while the temp drops.. and the weather outside is quite steady all year long. Grill is always clean.
