The Weber stainless steel cooking grates are a fantastic upgrade. The stainless steel construction is durable, resists rust, and cleans up much easier than other grate materials I've used. They heat evenly, produce great grill marks, and hold heat well for consistent cooking results.
Heavy grade stainless, fits my old grill perfectly and the first few cooks have turned out great!
Very pleased with the product and extremely pleased with the customer service I received! Weber customer service couldn't help find this item for me and BBQ Guys found it in minutes and shipped it right out to me. BBQ Guys are my "go to" now for grilling supplies!
I bought these as replacements for my silver series genesis grill I’ve had for like 20 yrs +. yes I’ve replaced parts but that’s why I like Weber they keep making parts to repair the grill. These work better than the ceramic one that originally cane with grill. I love cooking on these. Thank you Weber for keeping parts in stock to repair my grill. This company is a true class act. Well worth the asking price because it’s last so long. Oh by the way I use my grill at the minimum of 2 times a week all year long. Now multiply that by 20 plus years and tell me that this is not a well made product
We’ve been using these stainless steel grates on our Weber Spirit E-330 for 1 month now, and we’re kicking ourselves for not having switched from cast iron grates years ago! They get us the same awesome grill marks as the iron grates, and they’re 10 times easier to clean. I’d highly recommend to all grill users!
When looking for replacement grates for my Weber grill I wondered why these were relatively expensive compared to other replacement grills. Many grills have grates which resemble shelf racks from a refrigerator. When I received the Weber grates I was amazed! The Weber grates are thick, heavy, and substantial! Thank you, Weber, for providing such a high quality product. The grates are very high quality and well worth the purchase price!!
I have two grills set up with these grates. They should be the standard furnished with the new Spirit 310 grill instead of the cast iron grates. The big advantage is when you clean after grilling. Just turn the burners on high with the lid closed for 15 minutes and everthing is burned off. The porcelain coated iron will flake off after a year but the solid stainless steel rods hold up indefinitely.
I just refurbished my Weber Genesis Silver B grill (purchased in 2000). I purchased these grates to avoid replacing them as frequently as my porcelain grates. I am still getting used to cooking with them. They are much denser and take longer to reach temperature. Other then that they are working well.
I bought these grills about a month ago and have used them twice to cook burgers. When they first arrived I was very pleased with how they looked and I am happy with how they clean up after cooking. The problem I have with them is that I don’t use frozen burger so when I place the burgers on the grill they sink down into the grates and when I have to flip them part of the burger sticks in the grates. I honestly wish that I had bought the originals.
I've used enamel-coated grates for decades, but they wear out over time, and I'd read that stainless grates are more non-stick and more durable. I'm finding the new grates much harder to keep clean (using a new Weber brush even) and food seems to stick even more. Disappointed with this "upgrade".
