It is different to the original grill that came with the BBQ, with a coating on the grill never got time to clean it so will see how easy it cleans when I go to use it again.
Love my little baby Q grill and have had it for 9 years. I'll admit I didn't take very good care of it, left out a lot, and getting wet etc., so eventually the grill began to rust. But, I cleaned it up, replaced the grills and it's a brand new grill. As much as I would like a Weber Spirit, I simply could not afford it right now. The Baby Q is perfect for one or two people. I did use it all the time, including in the middle of winter and it has never failed me!
Lost the grates in an accident, replacements fit great.
Original Bay Q has been used almost every day for roasts, stakes and pizzas for nearly 20 years
Lovely new split grill for my BabyQ, works a treat
I must have bought one of the first Weber Baby Q's in Australia and still have it, that's why I need a new grill. The concept, design and build quality of these BBQ's can't be beaten and I will never buy anything else. It has stood the test of time for our small family producing excellent results,
Online order was simple and delivery to regional Vic within 2 days - fantastic! I replaced my very old grill plate, saved me from buying a whole new BBQ. Very grateful that replacement parts are available to purchase so easily.
The enamelled version is a superior surface to the original and very easy to clean. The adaption clips were very easy to fit. Very happy with the split arrangement
These are what makes the Q series shine as the BTU output isn't high enough to effectively grill without the iron core of these grates. Once the porcelain exterior starts to crack, it's time for new ones. Good news: They'll last 4-5 years under heavy use with routine cleaning. Bad news: Unless you've damaged the porcelain coating, by the time these wear out, you're probably better off just buying a new grill.
Poor quality compared to the ones that originally came with bbq. I seasoned them and have only brushed them with the plastic “scourer” side of the brush but they seem to already be cracking. Similar complaint to other reviews. 2 stars because the delivery was very quick.
