I am very happy with the SPIRIT EX-325s LP grill. I purchased it because it had all of the features of the larger Genesis models, in a smaller size. I didn't have room for the larger model. I replaced a Weber grill I purchased around 1990. I like the searing burner and being able to track the temperatures of the grill on my phone. All work great!
Grill gets hot. App tells you when the grill gets hot. Haven't had the opportunity to use the meat thermometer yet, but the quality of the app is very high. No noticeable hot or col spots. Pleased.
I have had used Weber grills before, and was debating on buying a cheaper grill brand to save a little money. I'm glad I didn't. I've only had it a month, but it feels and looks great sturdier than other grills I have had. The app is easy to connect to, and if it continues to work as it does now, is absolutely amazing with the tracking of the grill temp and food temp.
Very satisfied with the spirit grill. It was easy to put together and I really like the smart grill features. I replaced a 13 year old Weber genesis with this grill and am impressed with how it cooks as compared to my old genesis. I would recommend this grill to my friends.
When my older Weber Grill finally died after thirteen years, I didn't hesitate to buy another Weber. I didn't even look for any other brands as I have been totally satisfied with my Weber. The new one is very similar to my old one but the new one has two features which I really like. The first us the searing station and the second is the digital temperature gauge.
I have changed from a charcoal grill to Spirit LP grill. Once up and running have found that I really enjoy the convenience of being able to light the burners and be ready to cook in 15 minutes of pre-heat. I think nothing grilling vegetables as sides, looking forward to grilling fruits for desserts as well. Steaks and burgers come out great with the sear feature. Larger cuts like Tri Tip are great with the thermometer feature. Other great features are the accessible drip pan and grill floor for cleaning and the propane level monitoring either directly or via the App. The App is a great bonus but was able to only set up the BlueTooth connection (but not the WiFi connection as it requires some technical info to pair) which means that the connection drops out in a relatively short distance. Another downside of the App is that the "notification" feature doesn't really "notify" via an alarm but just sends a text to you. I would appreciate something that actually "alerts" you with some type alarm. But all in all I am really enjoying the benefits of a great gas grill.
Nice product overall! Assembly instructions from the app were different than printed copy so I stuck with printed. My only gripe is that the temp probe is rather large in diameter and not suitable for smaller sections of meat. I am still using a handheld probe for accurate measurements. I think the included probe would be great for larger cuts though.
I bought this about a month ago and so far so good! I really like the digital display and WIFI connectivity that tells you the grilling temp on the BBQ. Heats up in no time. Big fan of the tank icon that tells you your fuel level. There is nothing worse than starting your BBQ only to find that your propane tank is empty. My only complaint is the warming rack seems to low and I find it hard to flip a burger without having to wrestle with it but other than that I am really enjoying my Weber.
The grill seems to be working fine. The assembly instructions were semi vague and I ended up messing up 2 of the steps and had to go back and undo and redo them. Otherwise, assembly took me about 2 hours. I was excited about the smart features, especially the meat probe that would allow me to monitor the food temp. Well the thermometer appeared to be really inaccurate the last time I used it and basically I burned 4 NY Strip steaks. I will probably just stick to eyeballing the meat like I used to and forget about the meat probe bc steaks are expensive. It is a good grill overall. If only I can figure out how to calibrate the thermometer so it reads correctly…
It is hard to connect it to wi-fi the search button spinning and spinning for 20 min, then i gave up. The weber app needs improvement. At very first you have to decide how well cooked you prefer, if you change your mind you cannot go back to adjust your settings
