I'm very pleased with the overall build and design. Especially noteworthy is the burner and ignition system. This grill seems to have better flare up control than my 15 year old Summit. Assembly could be simplified and accomplished quicker if the instructions included text vs illustrations only.
About my 5th Weber, usually lasting 8-10 years, hope this is the same. Just started using it very even grilling and the new electronic stuff makes control easier.
Excellent grill, easy to light and use, meat thermometer and display is a very nice feature, easy hookup to home natural gas
Awesome grill! Heats up evenly….smart app is spot on
This grill has performed better than I expected. The sear zone is great! It quickly sears burgers, chicken, etc. perfectly. Setup was easy though a couple of things could have been explained. There are yellow dots on some parts. If you align the dots on adjacent parts you have everything correct. I didn't catch that at first and had to start over. Also something that explained which side of the grates is the top. I had to look that up online.
My first Weber, very easy to follow instructions and everything lines up beautifully. good quality nuts n bolts and all parts are doing exactly as you would hope.
Great Grill built to last for years - my last one gave me 15 years of great grilling.
Electric thermostat unnecessary. Hard to control temperature with this model. If outside plug not working, no way to know how hot grill temp is. I also have the original Weber Grill, and it is still their best model.
Picked up a Genisis EX325s to replace my 10 year old Weber Q. Have so far cooked a roast pork, came out perfect using the inbuilt smart temp probe and app, a couple of whole chickens again so easy to cook to perfection using the smart features. Bacon and eggs on the hot plate - bacon nice and crispy and evenly done. Did family pizza night in this too, didn't quite get the bases perfect but believe this was a little operator error as I just put a pizza stone on top of the grill bars - next time will remove bars and put directly onto crafted wire base. Build quality seems excellent, smart display also shows gas bottle level by feeding back from the level bracket the bottle sits on. Plenty of prep space available on both sides overall if you can justify the cost believe this barbecue excellent. Looking forward to many years of cooking on this Barbecue. Not PC I know but it also looks like a proper Manly BBQ.
Gets nice and hot, but the burners are slow to light. The fatal flaw: you have to plug it in to see the temp gauge! Or use a battery pack (that I could never get to work) that's exposed to the elements. More tech than is necessary to simply grill a steak.
