The Genesis S-335 Gas Grill is a great grill. This is the second Weber grill of this type I've purchased. When my old one finally, after 12 or 13 years, there was no doubt what my next grill would be. This new iteration of my former Genesis 320 is really something. I'm thrilled with it.
Beautiful grill, well made. I assembled it myself, the instructions could be a lot better. So if you are a novice use the app for better instructions. Regardless the assembly went well it took about two hours, but I took my time. The grill itself heats up and cooks well, all said and done it was worth the money.
Great grill! My 2nd Weber Genesis. Very happy with it's performance. Seems to actually get hotter than my old unit. I like how the hood operates - very smooth and seems to be counterbalanced nicely. I was able to just bolt on the bracket for my existing rotisserie so didn't need to replace that. If there is one drawback it's that there is no indicator of propane level/weight built in like the old one. Bit of a bummer but livable. All in all, a solid performer at a reasonable cost and hoping for many years of service.
I’ve been using Weber grills for the past 15 years, cooking on them several times a week because of how convenient they are. In my experience, Weber makes some of the best BBQs on the market. This model is once again cleverly designed and very well built, the quality and reliability I’ve come to expect.
I spent a lot of time deciding on a new grill for our new home in Utah. I am absolutely ecstatic with the quality of my new Weber grill. I love the way it seasons the meat and vegetables we've cooked on it. It's the best indirect cooking i've ever experienced.
I had my first Genesis last for 25 years. Webers are the best. They last and are without a doubt worth every penny!
This is my 2nd Genesis. Works well, although it's noticeable lighter lid then my old one seems to not hold heat as well. I have noticed the back left is a hot spot, never had that in 11 years on my old one. The flat top insert is super well built, heavy and much better than a black stop top. However I don't feel it stays as hot as I would like. I use the sear burner (even though it says not to) in order to keep the heat. My Lazer says it reaches 500 degrees but with the lid open and full never makes it back to that. It is still early so I could need to learn more.
This replaced a similar Weber I had. While the original seemed a bit sturdier and a better design (I prefer the side burner on the right), this one suits my needs. One issue, the right door doesn't reach the magnet, and doesn't stay closed. I'll have to figure something out, I guess.
Poor Quality Thought I was getting a Quality got a piece of junk. Poor manufacting. Already discolored. Cheap griddle. Thought I was getting ceramic covered cast iron squared. Cheap stainless steel. Will not last. Front door will not stay closed. Cheap magnets will not hold door shut. Burners are cheap and will rust through quickly not heavy duty in any way. Side storage compartment is not stainless steel. Cheap painted compartment I am sure will rust. Cheap way out. Last spirit grill I bought was quality this is junk. Could have gotten a much better grill with more features for half the cost. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money. Would not recommend. Saw a much better grill at Sam's Club for half the price. Weber no longer stands for quality.
I really wanted to love this grill because when it works, it cooks well, looks great, and makes you feel like you are about to host the barbecue equivalent of a Food Network special. Unfortunately, getting this thing to work consistently has been an absolute nightmare wrapped in stainless steel. For the past year, I have been dealing with constant gas leaks, changing hoses, checking connections, and basically acting like a free propane detective. So far, I have already wasted two full gas tanks trying to find the leak, which is both annoying and costly. Nothing says “relaxing weekend grilling” like smelling propane and wondering if dinner or the patio furniture is about to catch fire. I contacted customer service several times, and to be fair, the representatives are polite and really nice to talk to. The problem is there is no repair center, so instead of taking it to a shop, I am supposed to make a video about the problem. But I honestly don't know what they want to see. Do they want a close-up of the hoses, the regulator, the leak, my growing frustration, or me staring off while holding a wrench? For a grill at this price, I expected it to work well and get good support, not a never-ending propane problem. Right now, it feels less like owning a high-end grill and more like being stuck in a game where the reward is just cooking a burger safely.
