Beautiful grill, well made. I assembled it myself, the instructions could be a lot better. So if you are a novice use the app for better instructions. Regardless the assembly went well it took about two hours, but I took my time. The grill itself heats up and cooks well, all said and done it was worth the money.
Great grill! My 2nd Weber Genesis. Very happy with it's performance. Seems to actually get hotter than my old unit. I like how the hood operates - very smooth and seems to be counterbalanced nicely. I was able to just bolt on the bracket for my existing rotisserie so didn't need to replace that. If there is one drawback it's that there is no indicator of propane level/weight built in like the old one. Bit of a bummer but livable. All in all, a solid performer at a reasonable cost and hoping for many years of service.
I spent a lot of time deciding on a new grill for our new home in Utah. I am absolutely ecstatic with the quality of my new Weber grill. I love the way it seasons the meat and vegetables we've cooked on it. It's the best indirect cooking i've ever experienced.
I’ve been using Weber grills for the past 15 years, cooking on them several times a week because of how convenient they are. In my experience, Weber makes some of the best BBQs on the market. This model is once again cleverly designed and very well built, the quality and reliability I’ve come to expect.
The Genesis S-335 Gas Grill is a great grill. This is the second Weber grill of this type I've purchased. When my old one finally, after 12 or 13 years, there was no doubt what my next grill would be. This new iteration of my former Genesis 320 is really something. I'm thrilled with it.
Just recently assembled and weather hasn't cooperated for extensive, but so far it's has performed outstanding. This purchased replaced a Weber grill purchased 20 years ago, this longevity was contributing factor to stay with Weber product. Another contributing factor is the Weber grill I purchased for my father 33 years ago and it's still running like a top. Love the new functionality/options that come with the WEBER CRAFTED frame kit.
Splurged and replaced my 15+ year old (still working)Genesis this year. I am really impressed. Heats up quick, gets super hot for searing. I have ordered, but haven't used the pizza stone and flat top inserts. Only complaint I have is that it doesn't come with a gas gauge. Other than that it is fantastic!
This replaced a similar Weber I had. While the original seemed a bit sturdier and a better design (I prefer the side burner on the right), this one suits my needs. One issue, the right door doesn't reach the magnet, and doesn't stay closed. I'll have to figure something out, I guess.
This is my 2nd Genesis. Works well, although it's noticeable lighter lid then my old one seems to not hold heat as well. I have noticed the back left is a hot spot, never had that in 11 years on my old one. The flat top insert is super well built, heavy and much better than a black stop top. However I don't feel it stays as hot as I would like. I use the sear burner (even though it says not to) in order to keep the heat. My Lazer says it reaches 500 degrees but with the lid open and full never makes it back to that. It is still early so I could need to learn more.
The Things I like about the Weber Genesis. The burners always ignite with ease, the temp across the cooking surface is fairly even and the grill get plenty hot for searing steaks. Now for the things I don't like about the grill. I purchased the stainless steel Genesis grill. The stainless steel is not 304 but most likely 340 which is a cheaper stainless steel. When I think of Weber I think of quality materials and this grill was on the pricey side and I don't think the quality of materials warrants the price. One other down side is the gap between the head unit and shelves. It is about an inch and will allow any rain to get inside the cabinet. On the left side of the cabinet is all the electronics for the ignition and when it rains and you didn't cover the grill, they will get completely wet because of the gap. I didn't have these issues with my prior grill which was not a Weber. It had higher quality stainless steel, and the inside of the cabinet wasn't exposed to the elements. I purchased the Weber because of the name and what it meant as far as quality. Disappointed that Weber has sacrificed quality of the components and design but as far as the basic functions are there and work great. I just don't know if the grill is worth the price.
