Weber quality at a reasonable price. I considered the smaller (14") portable but despite not usually needing 22" chose the bigger one on legs. You don't have to use the entire surface of the grill if you don't need to but you have it for when you do. I expect it to last many years like my last Weber.
This 22-inch charcoal grill is a fantastic choice for backyard cookouts. It features excellent heat retention with its porcelain-enameled bowl and lid, and the temperature is incredibly easy to control using the adjustable dampers. The plated steel cooking grate is durable, provides a great sear, and offers plenty of cooking space. It is easy to move around and a total breeze to clean up afterwards. Highly recommend!
We've used a BIG Weber for years until it finally fell apart. Decided to downsize to this smaller tub size . Pleasantly surprised on how similar this Weber grill cooks like the bigger Weber but using less charcoal Same great Weber quality %26 workmanship. Wish it had a rod attached to the metal plates covering the bottom air vents but that can easily be fixed. Grills meats %26 veggies wonderfully. We recommend this grill for all your grilling needs.
the instructions to assemble left a lot to be desired. i had to take the wheels off twice because the bottom rack was on upside down...which was not clear in the instructions and then again to hook the rack in the leg hole which also wasnt clear. otherwise. its ok. dont try to assemble on a windy day.
It's lightweight and has wheels and a handle to move it around. There is a notch on it to hang the lid while grilling. It does require assembly and took my son about 15 min.
Showed up on time with all the parts, cannot beat a Weber grill for taste and quality. I tossed out my gas grill and went back to charcoal there is no better and alot of it and sometimes all of it is made right here in the USA.
Great grill. Weber is a very reputable name. Product last a long time, as long as you take care of it , and it's easy to use. Could have went with a cheaper grill. I have had a Weber grill in the past. I will buy Weber in the future.
Very nice grill. My only problem was putting it together. a couple of the bolts were extremely hard to put on and one refused to go on at all! Luckily, the 2nd on on the top handle is on very tight.
It is not nearly the quality of my previous Weber but it was much cheaper. This version doesn't have a thermometer in the lid. You have to get on your knees to see the bottom vent adjustment. My old Weber had hinged access on each side of the rack to access the charcoal. This one doesn't.
My family has used Weber charcoal grills for years. My dad had one that seemed to last forever, And it seems like they are made very cheaply now. Plastic and cheap feeling parts. Works ok. Just lower quality. I bought it for my son's birthday, as his first grill. Disappointed.
