Weber Master-Touch 22" Charcoal Grill, Deep Ocean Blue

I have the first series of performer grill, so it's over 25 years old. I'm pressed to fit everything I have to cook and than I realized I had four Weber kettle grills to take care of the whole meal in the past. But gave them away. I was looking at gravity fed charcoal grills, hoping Weber would come out with one, but that is not going to happen since they came out with temp control models. I just went out and bought a new Weber kettle and I'm very happy now and have all the room to cook for family gatherings. I have a Weber gas grill that is over 35 years old with the original igniter. I have only had to replace favorizer bars and shore up the cart.

What can I say? As usual Weber comes through with a quality product. Cheaper imitations of Weber products don't equal the quality and performance. Easy to assemble, works wonderfully.

I absolutely love my Weber Kettle Master Touch. I've been using it most weekends and can taste the difference using charcoal and wood chips. I have a pellet grill smoker and an outdoor griddle, but now prefer my Weber. It's like driving a stick shift vs automatic controlling the temp with the vents. I dig it!

The master touch series is fantastic. My only slight critic would be the small round grill grate can be cumbersome sometimes. But other than that I love it. The grill grates are nice, thick, and heavy duty. I like having a spot for the lid and the ash catching system are all great.

Updated grill grates, better wheel base which gives it a slightly higher grilling level and of course the side lid now has a proper spot. Really nice grill that can do all types of cooking. Support form Weber as well as an assortment of accessories available makes it a worthy addition.

The grill is ok. Lid does not fit properly all the way around. The wheels are not what was pictured. Instead they had black mag snap in covers. The grill with the removable center could be nice for attachments, but it's more of a hassle than it's worth to me. It falls out too easy and is hard to align in place on a hot grill after you've put the coals in. I do like to lid holder. The paint is pretty decent too.

We purchased this barbeque grill so we can cook and customize the flavors with different types of charcoal. We like the special features especially the ability to dispose of the used charcoal and the special top that allows you to hold the top in the upright position.

So happy I decided to buy a kettle versus a gas grill; I enjoy and take pride in the food I've prepared. I didn't know it was possible for me to make this quality of food at home. I still don't quite understand why anyone would want to own a gas grill, but that's just me. I've had it for a few months now and I've cooked burgers, chicken, chops, brisket… I'm smoking some pork belly as I type this. This little thing is a beast. 10/10 recommend if you want to actually have a hands-on cooking experience and take pride in your food.

I had been using a full sized pellet grill for 8 years and finally got tired of the mechanical mishaps and inability to grill / sear after the slow cook. The Weber grill has been able to do both without the need for a motor, augur, and difficult to reach areas to clean. I think there are some design improvements that could be made to the Weber, but it is hard to beat its capabilities for the price.

I am a huge Weber fan. I've had nothing but Weber grills in my life. My new Weber Touch grill has been great except for one item. I dislike the lid bail. I think it's the design of the metal "hoop" I believe it's too small. My lid hangs over the grill at an angle and somewhat gets in the way. I wish it had that hook that my old Weber kettle had.
