They produce smoke over a long period,often still around when I have shut the grill down waiting for it to cool. The mesquite brings back memories of when my wife and I used to meet at city grill when we worked downtown, they would use mesquite on on their meat products, brings back the memories.

I think Weber has the best wood chips. No bark, only sweet wood. They have all types of wood chips, get them all and see how you can make the food so good you chew the bones.

The question is do you put them in early or later in the process? The smoky flavors and aromas it adds is great. The bag comes with a good variety of smaller pieces and medium pieces to accommodate your smoking needs.

The quality once again with webers wood is unmatch. This wood is great not all small but some good chunks.

Best for Southwest grilled chicken, seasoned steak and for adding a special flavor to those grilled burgers!
