Weber Performer 22" Black Charcoal Grill

I've owned several Weber grills, including two charcoal models. This one is as advertised. Assembly was fairly easy. The folding side table is extremely handy. This is charcoal grilling at its finest and without breaking the bank.

We used our Weber for the first time last week to cook brats. The grill did just fine. Easy to operate. Wish the top had a hinge system. It would have made things a bit easier. Other than that, a great experience.

The Performer series delivers premium features that are just above and beyond. With the one touch feature I can cook however is needed for the style of cooking required. The bonus of a folding table and the option of rolling it out of the way when being used is fantastic! Honestly, the Weber grills are the best charcoal grills I have ever used. I will always use Weber for my grilling/smoking habits! Thank you for an EXCELLENT product!

It's been so long that I've cooked with charcoal it's taking a bit of a learning curve, but so far everything has tasted great. Now I'm obsessed with accessories. I have the charcoal baskets and the vortex, now I really want to get the kit that turns it into a Komodo grill and the kit that turns it into a Brazilian BBQ.

Love the stainless steel grill that can be cleaned.love the removable center ring for adding coals. Love the side tray. Only one small drawback. The removable center ring tends to tip if weight is not exactly evenly distributed on it. Would benefit from some kind of locking system.

Perfect size, excellent grill grates, compact but very capable of handling a big load, and outstanding accessories. The one thing I could see changing is the locking caster wheels, although they seem to do the job fine though. There is just something about the charcoal flavor. The best thing about the grill is it is so easy to control the temperature. The vents make it a snap. This grill is tried and true.

The grill was relatively easy to assemble, though I would suggest 2 people to attach the side table, that was a bit complicated. So far I am loving everything about it. I did not want the rack that came with this, so I ordered the solid rack separately and have been happy with it. The wheels operate smoothly and the casters lock and unlock easily.

It looks great. Cooks great. It's very versatile in what you can cook with it. I just wish the ash collector was engineered better. Its very difficult to put back on after you take it off for cleaning.

Grill works the grill cover does not. Even with the one Velcro strap the wind blows the cover off. Had to search neighborhood for cover twice. My wife sewed new straps and buckles on the new cover, in order to keep the grill cover on. I would not recommend buying the cover. In my opinion Weber owes us for the cover. Add straps with buckles to your cover before you sell anymore.

Its a great grill, but I'm struggling to get to hold a steady temp with in a reasonable range. Probably me more then the grill.
