Great grill!! Cooks better than any other grill I have owned. I've had charcoal, pellet and gas grills. This one out performs them all. Highly recommend!!
what a great compact grill. I have the genesis larger model, and bought this for my girlfriend. It works awesome. Small and compact. Lights up instantly, Grilled pizza and quesedillas too. Get one!
This grill is large enough for all of the stuff I like to grill. Easy to clean grates. it starts with the first try every time. Love it
We have been using one of the old Weber portable grills, some times when we have family over we like to cook chicken and burgers and needed more space, this grill hit the mark. This grill has not had the flame blow out, I hate that since you have to try and guess how much longer you need to cook. So we are pleased with this purchase from Weber.
We used the Q1000 for 7 years and decided to upgrade to the Q2000 after experiencing such a great lifespan with the smaller one, which still works like a champ. It’s not rusted. The gas line is still intact. We just wanted a bigger cooking surface. The flip outs are nice and gives us a place to set our food when putting on and taking off the grill. Love this beastly little grill.
I love it! My last grill would never put good sear on steaks and burgers; this one seems always to perform well. Of course, I can never leave any thing alone so I have modified the cart to suit my needs. I want the wheels to the left of the cook as this allows easier movement in and out of my garage storage space. Then I want the tank mounted over the axle so I cut a piece of plywood to fit, mounted the modified plastic baseplate and with the vanity panel mounted on the side away from the cook, I have easy access to the tank from the cooking side. For my needs a big improvement.
The Weber Q 2000 was very easy to assemble right out of the box. The ignition works well. I do wish it would heat up to higher temperatures. So far my steaks do not sear when preheated for 15 minutes. Everything else, hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, fish cooks great.
I have only used it once but like the great design, heavy duty ceramic grill panels that are easy to clean and it's portability. Wish it had a temp gauge.
Great grill. Super high quality craftsmanship. Two ideas for future models. 1) Make the arms detachable. I have the grill on a table and dont need them. 2) Add an adjuster to be able to increase the amount of heat the grill puts out. Even a low-high switch. This grill is not a 2 minute to go-time grill. It takes a good 10+ minutes to heat up. Mild btu's. PS: I have the adapter to a 20lb tank attached.
Less than a year old and starter is, had to replace. Burner plugs easy with grease off the grill. Have to clean ports with stick pen. Paint is starting to come off top already. Not sure it was the money in the long haul.
