The 2800N+ fit my needs perfectly. It's compact yet it offers sufficient height to accommodate a large grilling pan. Great mobility; easy to move about. It even has hooks for my grilling utensils.
Best grill ever! I've had a Weber Q in my Rv for 15-20 years and just upgraded my home supplementing my smoker with a new Q and will update my Rv with a new one soon. The heavy cast porcelain coated grate cooks great!
The larger grill surface and the center burner are a terrific improvement over my old Q2200. I'm especially impressed with the ability to easily reach 600 degrees F within a few minutes. The side shelves are a disappointment however in that they don't fold like the Q2200. I do however appreciate the 4 pivoting/locking wheels that are on the new cart which I also purchased.
It was time for us to replace our full-size barbecue, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The product and service were both very impressive. It's the perfect size for our needs, heats up quickly, and the cast iron grill looks fantastic and performs even better. Since we got it, I've been cooking on it nonstop—every dinner has become barbecue time! Thank you, Weber, for such a great experience.
This is the best 'little' BBQ around! It looks smaller than it is as there is plenty of room to BBQ many burgers and buns at a time. It cooks so evenly and I like the new design that hides the gas tank behind an easy to open door for shut off. Our previous model, very similar, lasted 14 years and we never even covered it from the elements all year round! I would be happy if this one lasted the same.
This is the perfect size grill for a couple with a small yard or patio. It heats up to over 700 degrees and heats up quick. The plus burner makes a big difference. I had read some negative remarks about the side shelf, however I have found them very sturdy.
Bought to replace a 12-year old Q2800. Still a great grill, but a few updates were an unpleasant surprise. I miss the larger casters from the older version, the unit had to be tilted to roll but could handle rough terrain, unlike the current version with its 4 delicate little plastic casters. I also liked that the shelves on the former model collapsed for storage, and that the grill was firmly attached to the stand, since I never remove it, even though it's built for portability. Pros are that the stand is more solid with metal sides, and the drip tray is more easily accessible. I like that the shape of the Q-series is a bit different from a typical grill, it's a bit more asthetically pleasing to me than a traditional grill
The Q2800N is a very capable grill. It grills wonderfully and is able to handle a large amount of food. The one complaint is the quality of the side tables. They are amazingly flimsy and completely worthless. It's surprising Webber included such a low quality accessory to a very good grill.
The grill was easy to assemble. The cart IS NOT. I haven't used the grill yet because I'm waiting for a professional assembler put the cart together. . Don't buy this unless you are prepared to hire someone to assemble it for you.
I bought this not too long ago, and within a week one of the side shelves had broken off. Unfortunately, it appears that during poor weather one of the pieces that holds the shelf in place just snapped in half. I can only imagine that poor quality plastic is responsible for this. It does however cook very quickly, and consistently. This is my second Weber grill, and I'm unsure whether I would purchase a third if the quality of materials is decreasing.
