Fired up my new Weber gas grill for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with the even cooking it provided. I had been using a 45 year old Weber grill and am much happier with the improvements that have been incorporated and the cooking results. I barbecue throughout the winter, regardless of the outside temperature. The side burner will help us avoid heating up the kitchen on summer days.
I needed a new grill. I decided on the Weber Spirit E-435. The grill has even heating with no hot/cold spots. My first grilling on it, my wife complimented me on how great everything cooked. The side burner is a big positive also. I love the fact that it has 4 burners, but is still compact in size. I also bought the 6787 griddle insert. However, I have not used that yet. I wish I had bought a Weber years ago.
Solid grill with easy to use controls and consistent heating and cooking. Love the easy light controls!
This is my second Weber gas grill. This one is for a vacation home. I often use the grill to smoke/grill meats and vegetables. So far, I haven't found any typical grilling task it couldn't handle. It has all the features I want - side burner and sear zone; among other safety and convenience features. The grill works perfectly. It's easy to light, preheats fairly quickly, and the sear zone has turned out to be a very useful feature. The price was on the high side, but my other Weber gas grill still works after 12 years, so I figure it's worth the $$.
I am disappointed in the flame. It cooks more like an oven than a BBQ. I always have to check several times to see if the flame is on because it's so low even in the highest setting. I've always wanted a Weber grill and now I'm disappointed.
Great barbecue, lots of space for cooking for a lot of guests, and the heat is evenly distributed when cooking. I just wish it the drip pan was easier to clean, it can't be removed easily.
Now I have one. I have to say even though the Spirit is not the Genesis line, you can still see that Weber has thought of serviceability. I did have an issue with the ignitor on the side burner, but went online and with a quick chat with their rep, had replacement part shipped quickly. Very pleased and would definitely recommend.
Poor quality from the factory. I had multiple issues. The biggest was the side burner weld had failed and it was unfixable. From dents and scratches and ill fitting parts. I definitely got a lemon. For this much cash it is unacceptable.
Very cheaply made for the price you pay hshshsgsgshsbsb
The grill fired up when I first got it, but I didn't use it. I wanted to test it, as I had just had a bad experience with a recent gas grill purchase. When I went to use it for the first time, it didn't work. Called Weber. Of course, as seems to be the case with all gas grills, it's the regulator. They send me a new one, and it still doesn't work. Returned it and going back to charcoal.
