Fits great and the velcro straps really keep the cover intact with high winds
Great cover made well fits like a glove, recommend one to take care of the summit
The grill cover is just what I expected from Weber. It is good quality and thoroughly protects my grill.
This cover fits the BBQ like a glove. This is the second Weber cover for the same BBQ. The first one was outside in an uncovered area for 5 years. Thru rain, wind, and snow our BBQ stayed protected. It's only failure was faded color from sun bleaching and the Velcro straps weren't sticking very well. It was still a useful cover so gave it to our son who had no cover for his Weber BBQ.
I bought this about a month ago for a new grill. I have one that is approximately 10 years old on another grill that I own. Based on how well the old cover has kept my grill clean and protected it against the weather I purchased the new one for the new grill.
We purchased this to replace the original cover that we got when we first got the bbq. It is the same one except I think the material is thinner than the original Fits well and does the trick. May need to replace more often as it may not last as long.
I wish I could give 3.5 stars rather than only three -- so that they would be green instead of yellow -- in order to reflect a review that leans more positive than "yellow" stars would suggest. Just couldn't in good conscious give 4-stars, unfortunately. Very pleased with the material. My previous Weber covers were a heavier-weight material, so I was worried about the lighter-weight material of this newer style. But the material has really held up well. My grill is blasted by the sun all summer and blasted by the wind, rain, snow, and ice the rest of the year. Pleasantly surprised; has not really faded much (attached picture not a good representation in that respect.) No tears, scuffs, pulls, etc. Seams holding up well. And the lighter-weight material makes it easier to cover a larger Summit grill as a one-man operation. And our grill has been uncovered and covered several times a week in the several years I've had this cover. However... the velcro straps on both sides have completely failed. They no longer stick together in any meaningful way. (Seems to be related to UV degradation, as the straps have really faded.) The lightweight material becomes a downside when this happens, as an errant gust getting under a non-strapped cover can lift it right up and off the grill. Have to resort to a bungee strap around it now... which I worry will eventually damage the cover itself. Sadly, I let the issue go unaddressed for too long. Unfortunately my cover is now just outside the 3-year warranty period. Probably could have gotten a replacement if I had addressed the issue when the velcro first started failing. As it stands I guess I'll wait until my bungee strap eventually destroys/ruins this cover before I pony up the cost of new Weber one. (Which I will buy... hoping the velcro issue was based on a bad batch.) Note: My issue with this one product is the single outlier in 30+ years of buying/using Weber grills and accessories, which are universally/typically of very high quality.
There are two qualities of covers that you can get. I wanted to replace the heavy rubber cover that came with the original purchase. The “premium” is not it. The premium does come with a 3 year warranty, and that is all that I am expecting. The original heavy one has lasted 10+ years. That is what I wanted.
I ordered a new grill cover as mine had become torn. Though the new cover fits well, it is a much thinner fabric than in the past (even though the price has increased). I don't anticipate this cover will last nearly as long. The quality change is disappointing.
This product is extremely cheaply made and not worth the money at all. I found a much nicer one for a lot cheaper on Amazon that wasn't the Weber brand.
