Weber Summit® Grill Center Lp

This order worked out very well, but be forewarned this item ships via ground freight and it is huge. While I was able to move it into my garage I had to get two additional people to help get it off of the custom plastic pallet without damaging it for assembly. Heavy item, which is good. Assembly took me 4 hours. This is an upgrade to our '16 Genesis E-330 which was still going strong w/ some periodic TLC, but the closeout pricing on the Summit Grill Station was just too good to pass up.

We have only used a the grill few times, but seems great. It came in two boxes with dozens of pieces, but the directions were illustrated well and two of us put it together in a couple hours. The lights on the handle, and the propane monitoring sensors are bonuses. We have not tried out the side burner yet. This is a very pricey item, Weber does have a great reputation so I'm hoping this grill lasts as long as the Vermont Castings that this is replacing, (18 years).

Love this grill!! Rotisserie makes amazing chicken with little effort. Lighting the infrared is a little quirky (seems to always take us 3 tries) but we quickly figured it out. The space is excellent to cook for a crowd - I can do both direct and indirect cooking all on one grill, plus use the side burner for chili or sauteed dishes. I'm pretty new to grilling more than burgers/kebabs so I purchased Project Fire to learn how to get the most out of my grill. We've been grilling just about every night ever since it arrived! Assembly is time-consuming but not difficult. Parts are HEAVY - be sure to have help to move main component into place before beginning! We unpacked the boxes first and moved the components separately. My daughter managed to break a knob in the first week and Weber sent the replacement within about 2 weeks! Safety features are great. Inadvertently left the burner under the smoker box on for several days (gas was turned off underneath, but knob above turned on). Couldn't figure out why the grill wouldn't light correctly. Read through manual, figured out our mistake and started the grill with no disaster! Also purchased for use with grill: (Essential) Kevlar gloves, Weber grilling tools, grill cleaning brush, grapeseed oil (for oiling grill), silicon side mats (for resting tools), grill cover (Nice to have) small and large grilling baskets, cherry wood chips, extra grease pans, drip pans, rib rack and griddle.

I selected the summit grill center after reviewing several other brands. I wanted a grill that would last and had at least 6 burners and was off the ground to be able to clean around it, and also for the large stove, that comes in handy for my paella dish. It took a while for the assembly since I was on my own and I am very detail oriented. It did have an issue with one of the doors falling out but that was due to leveling, and got it corrected. The temperature is easily controllable. Used it for about 3 weeks and everything works fine, loved the lights at night showing what is grilled and that auto shutoff when closed, having the lights on the handle rather than inside is a very clear advantage. Cleaning and maintaining is like other grills but I noticed less effort. I like the cabinets for storage, having everything I need at hand and out of sight. Up to now the grill is great. Regarding the price, for the number of burners and quality, I found it to be comparable to others in the market, and for a little more full size cabinets with shelves and a large burner made my decision easier.

I received my natural gas summit grill center 6 weeks ago. We had large group over the house for 4Th of July and the Grill Center was well used— grilled 3 meals per day— Grilling steaks, ribs and chicken- was able to control the temperature to meet perfection I grill every night What a wonderful well built grill— I love it

Love this barbecue, will never own anything but a Weber. This thing is built like a tank, gets 700 degrees very fast if you want it to. Absolutely buy one of these if you can. I bought the built in version almost 30 years ago and it still works perfect.

I bought this to replace my aging Genesis grill. The summit is packed with features and looks great. My only complaint is lighting all burners the first time is sometimes finicky / problematic. One of the included grill lights refused to turn off after two months of use even after replacing the batteries. So I've had to replace that. Other than that the grill has been truly exceptional. The included rotisserie and smoker box are both nice features which I've experimented with. I love the side burner; it's truly one of the best features of the grill center. Most side burners are an afterthought.

Very nice grille, but the stainless parts are severely thin and flimsy, not something I expected from a top of the line Weber grille.

Was super excited about my purchase. Assembly was reasonably. Directions were good. Quality of the grill section is top notch. Quality of the sides sections less than what I expected. The grill cooks great. Unfortunately the paint is peeling off of the cast iron side section and one of the doors does not close properly. The paint issue is being handled under a warranty claim but the door issue is not which is frustrating for a grill that is less than 60 days old and has only been used three times.
