Weber Traveler 1 Burner Portable Liquid Propane Compact Gas Grill, Black

Over the years, I have owned many grills (most of them Weber). In the past, I always bought more of the standard sized units on the assumption that if I was entertaining friends I would need the larger capacity. However, now in retirement where our usage is just me and my wife, we have downsized to the Weber Traveler and it is great. The grilling surface, though smaller, is still adequate for cooking multiple items. The smaller propane tanks are easy to install and make moving the grill much easier, but what really is nice is the on/off process. No more turning on the gas tank before the igniter, just turn the single knob past the igniter and bingo the spark lights up the flame (and the same process to turn it off. As far as the taste of the grilled food, we are not noticing any difference. While we will not be taking this grill for any camping purposes, I would still recommend purchasing one if you want a small grill that operates like a bigger one.

I year ago bought the compact because of size of my trunk the regular size didn't fit (maybe in few months with a trunk) I like it so much I camp very often then my son had the same issue soo I bought a another compact and both of us are extremely happy like I said in a couple of months going for the regular size traveler

I purchased this grill for home and camping. It arrived assembled (which I so appreciate, as the grill I ordered from a competitor required assembly and was unlevel once assembled.) I easily traveled with the grill for vacation, and it performed perfectly. Great burgers, dogs, steak and veggies were served for dinner. I LOVE this grill!!!

I bought the smaller version of the Traveler, and it folds up so well to store underneath my RV! The griddle accessory for the full-size Traveler also fits my compact Traveler. I was able to easily disassemble the regulator and purchase a natural gas quick release hose to attach to my RV. I love this grill!

I used this multiple times for camping and for backyard cookouts. Showed a few friends and they are amaze how small it is when throwing it into my sedan's trunk.

The grill was boxed very securely. It was easy to put together. The grill is easy to use, and works well. Keep in mind that this is a small grill, and does not have the features, and capabilities of the larger Weber grills. For its size, it works very well.

I would give the grille 5 stars but the folding stand isn't so great. The gas shock bent the first time I pushed it down, also bending the grille frame. Out of the box it did not come up “ one handed” either. So possibly the shock was bent to start. Weber promptly sent out all the parts to repair it but it was a big project.. The grille part is great.

Seriously this has gotta be the worst design and function of a portable gas grill. If you purchase this grill purchase a bungie cord to keep the lid closed while pulling on the ground. Grill lid lock woeful inadequate. Used the unit three times and the unit is unable to collapse to travel position. My first Weber purchase. I thought this company was reputable for quality products. Boy was I wrong.
