I've had my WeBoost for a short time now and it does make a difference not only in phone call signal reliability and strength but also with data transfer. I use my phone as a wifi hotspot for my laptop and I am seeing faster transfer rates for my large files to my Dropbox account. Truck drivers who look to get this unit: It's best to mount the outside antenna on the driver side of the truck. If you have to mount to the passenger side, just be aware of trees etc on the side of the road. You don't want to damage the antenna!
As a long-haul driver, I've used many Wilson Electronic cell boosters. This unit is hands down the best they've put out yet! If there is any cell signal to be had the unit will boost it up to a usable level and stay locked on it. I highly recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of time out on the road and needs to stay connected. Voice or data. Boost those bars!
Needed a solution for voice and data fringe areas on my commute to work. Also hope to use it camping this summer through out the Northeast. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Spent the last week driving through a variety of areas where I had little or no ability to access data or carry on a voice conversation. Happy to report that, so far, I can not find anywhere that I can't use my phone or even stream a YouTube video. I expected to find at least a few areas that I still could not get service. Hats off to the folks at WeBoost! I plan to mount "trucker" antenna permanently on my camper and use another smaller antenna on my truck.
Just what I needed for a install in a 5th wheel travel trailer. Enough antenna lead to external mount the outside the trailer, with the internal base unit mounted inside & having additional leads to the internal antenna placement in the center of the trailer living area. Looks custom made/installed. Works great!
It works as they said it works. In places that I would lost service I had service. But I have a Kenworth t880 so the bracket that come with it didn't work for me. So I have work lights that I put on my truck and there bracket for the light works great.
I bought this unit to provide amplified cell signals in my motorhome. The Weboost was easily installed and within an hour or so, I was testing the output of the product. All my testing indicated that I had made the right decision to purchase this product and we are looking forward to seeing what it will do as we travel up into Canada this spring
Ive only had it installed on my truck a week so i havent had the opportunity to test it in my problrm areas. My current cell phone provider is sprint. And the only place ive truely tested it is in salina kansas. One of my trouble spots. Granted i get 4g when no one is parked around me the second trucks get near i drop to 3g and lag incredibly. That problem is now gone. My only 2 gripes about this product so far is how short the wires are for the i side and outside antenna. I dont slip seat so im in my truck indefinitely. I had placed my antenna on the drivers side on the rear of the cab just having the tip exposed up over the truck. That didnt leave me much wiggle room to get it inside the truck. Ive got a cascadia and mounting it on the mirrors wasnt an option as there was interference with my cb antennas and mirrors. Because the outside antenna cable was short what cable was on the inside antenna really limited on where i could put the inside antenna. All in all i cant complain too much. I just love the fact im already seeing an improvemnet.
So excited to get this. Even though it was close to $500 and I had it installed for $200 at camping world. But I see no difference ever. I have one dot on my LTE bar and when I put it's next to the receiver nothing changes. Right this minute I'm very sad. I made sure it was more than 6 inches away from any other antenna. And I don't think there is any interference that is causing the problem. I really want this to work. I bought the trucker big antenna and the best system I thought I could buy. 4 GX OCR
ive had this device for 5 or 6 months it has never worked not it didn't come on it just never worked not once never used it in a car hauler ,ford explorer chevy dually nope still didn't work biggest waste of monie will never ever buy any thing from these people again it did have pretty lights
I am disappointed in the performance of the over the road that I purchased. It does not inprove my reception at all. I have an area that sometimes I have no service, 1 bar and 2 bars without the booster. I have the same with the boost, no service, 1bar, and 2 bars.
