With all the monsoon rains the past few months, the weeds had overgrown our yard. It was a constant battled every few days to keep them cleaned up. This tool is amazing. It pulls the weeds in quite a wide area in a few simple strokes. You can use it on the side and use it as a hoe. The edges are serrated, so it catches even the smallest weed. Great price also!!

I have bought these types of cutters in the past for about the same price and it turned out to be a flimsy piece of metal on a stick that would break after a couple of uses. Now this one is sturdy with a thick blade that cuts with ease. I do believe this one will last quite some time.

Great way to get easy exercise while cleaning up overgrown areas. It is so pleasant to have the whoosh of the blade and the smell of cut vegetation, rather the noise and smell of a motorized weed cutter. Also less expensive. Highly recommended.

Just like old times. Cuts through the woody stems of grass/weeds that grow in a water diverting ditch behind my house. The weed eater can't handle it but this thing does the job in no time. Its good exercise too! I'd recommend it and I don't expect I'll need to buy another for the rest of my life. Sharp as heck, sturdy made.

Seems pretty sturdy and well made for a inexpensive weed wacker. Hard to find in retail stores so I had to go online. People are getting more lazy all the time,its not that hard to swing one of these and you burn fat/calories in the process. If the handle breaks some day then its easy to find another one.

I have a ditch to clear. The ditch ate up my string trimmer. This is the best solution

Screws on blade and handle come loose over a period of time

The cutter cuts OK, the only problem seems to be the handle. It is very smooth and tires my hand when I have to swing it for a while. I am going to try to wrap it with a rough tape, like on bicycle handles, and maybe attach a wrist strap to the end, in case my hand lets go and the rather heavy cutter goes flying.

After dumping a box of green packing peanuts, and sorting through them twice with a magnet, I became certain my Seymour-Serrated-Weed-Cutter/19241655 arrived minus at least one key part. There are certain things one expects when receiving products. Even cheap ones. If assembled, it should have an all inclusive container. If not assembled, then a protective container with all the necessary parts and instructions. I think the cutter would have appeared more professional produced (worthy of the "Made in the U.S.A" label) had it been totally disassembled in a nice long tube (or box) along with all required parts (a buck ninety-eight in nuts and bolts) on a blister pack. Step-by-step picture instruction would have been a bit of an overkill considering there are only four screws and four nuts. Three nuts in my case. I really shouldn't complain. What can one expect for less than $25 with a "Made in the U.S.A." label? Once I get my nut, I'll be happy.

It doesn't cut through very much.Small weeds close to the ground is about all I could get it to cut. It certainly doesn''t fit the description of what it would do. A hand sicle would work much better but I cannot bend low enough to use it.
